This terraced cottage in central Whitby sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Amber Cottage is a charming, traditional, terraced cottage, quietly hidden away in one of the narrow yards in central Whitby and can sleep four people. The cottage is set over three floors and has a double bedroom, a second floor twin bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a living flame gas fire. Outside there is roadside parking and parking in local car parks. Amber cottage is a wonderful base for discovering the popular seaside town of Whitby.

Travel cot. Roadside parking available for 40 mins from 8am to 8pm, unrestricted 8pm to 8am, additional roadside parking and car parks nearby. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 min walk. Beach 5 mins walk.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, Whitby is an ancient fishing port steeped in history. The ruin of St Hilda’s Abbey is high on Whitby’s East Cliff and looks down on narrow streets and alleyways. From the old town, the parish church of St Mary, also on East Cliff, has 199 steps leading to it and the churchyard was one of the inspirations for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Other attractions in Whitby include the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Victorian Jet Works and The Dracula Experience. There are year-round events at Whitby Pavilion Complex and there is a blue flag beach and spectacular cliffs and bays to explore. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
