Left on 03/10/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Despite initial confusions over our booking, it was a great place to stay. An immaculate apartment, with plenty of space inside and out, and a wonderful view over Mercury Bay. Jill was very friendly, helpful and attentive, which more than made up for the initial problem. Would definitely recommend.

Turning up from the UK for Christmas with two small children, we were slightly apprehensive about what we would find.
Jill welcomed us with open arms, the place was perfect - great views, fantastic facilities - we couldn't have asked for more. Jill was very helpful and friendly - making sure we were OK, and offering up suggestions as to what to do with the kids, but at the same time leaving us to our own devices as well.
We loved the views, and sitting there on Christmas day with crayfish, a glass of wine and two contented kids was just how we had imagined spending Christmas away from home.
There is so much to do on the Coromandel, and each day was a new adventure. The weather (it rained a bit) didn't stop us, and all in all, this trip has given us a taste of NX, and we can't wait to come back and see more. -

Left on 12/16/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wharekaho View. From the moment Jill welcomed us we knew it was going to be good. The views were amazing and we felt totally at home in the comfortable and luxurious surroundings. Jill kindly provided a lot of the little things to make our stay easy for us. The kitchen setup was perfect for us and we happily used it as a base to explore the beautiful Mercury Bay area. Having our own private backyard and BBQ was a bonus. We will definitely be going back and recommending Wharekaho View to our family and friends.

BrisbaneStunning and relaxing getaway
Left on 10/20/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We had such an enjoyable stay at Wharekaho view. The view itself is stunning, so relaxing to sit overlooking the bay with a glass of wine (kindly provided by Jill). The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and is furnished beautifully. We loved the quiet and spacious location too. Whitianga is a town with plenty of amenities, a good base for Cathedral Cove and Hot Waves Beach. Jill is an excellent host, she is there if you need her and very accomodating. We certainly hope to return.

Our stay at Wharekaho View was a very enjoyable experience. The home was delightful , very clean and all needs provided for including picnic gear. The bed was extremely comfortable and a large airy bathroom.
Cool weather was no problem as there was ample heating. Both bedrooms have views of the Bay as does the kitchen and breakfast nook.
Jill was very welcoming and caring ensuring we came home to a warm home when we were arriving after dark. Also loved the sweet treats and wine provided as well! -

Hi Jane (and Jill)! We just wanted to send our thanks for a wonderful stay at your beautiful home. Despite the rough weather, we had a great time at the festival, but mostly we had a great time at your home. What a perfect place, perfect amenities, loved that the kitchen was so well equipped (of course we especially loved the ability to grill given that we live in auckland CBD in a high rise!) and the whole place was spotless!!! We will be back!!! Thank you from all of us! -- Ada, Zach and Tim.

Left on 07/20/2012 for a stay in November 2011
We stayed at this fabulous apartment for 6 nights, November 2011. The apartment was immaculate, very well equipped, and the view simply stunning. Jill was very welcoming and she went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. We were lucky to have beautiful weather which made the view even more enjoyable. We liked the location, away from the busy part of town, but only a very short drive into Whitianga. We hope to return and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Jill :)

Left on 07/08/2012 for a stay in October 2011
Jill looked after us extremely well. It was great coming back to little treats left for us each day and to find the place had had a quick clean while we were out. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful. We enjoyed being a little away from the hurly burly of the town cente. The break was good for the sole and Jill made it even better.

We arrived end of December 2011 and the view was magnificent. You couldn't have asked for anymore in a place to stay only wish the next couple of days were better weather, but we enjoyed what we saw and it is a magical part of N.Z.

I took my parents to Wharekaho with my partner.
A beautiful place with a spectacular view! we were there in January and it was very rainy but still we had the best time. Jill did everything to make us feel at home. The delicious home baked bread-still warm was a wonderful welcoming treat! We loved the view! The apartment was immaculate-everything and more that we could have hoped for and spotlessly clean. Would love to return sometime. -

I stayed with my mum who was over from the UK. Wow the view has to be seen to be believed, ocean and hillside views over farmland that gave us an immediate sense of peace. We could have spent the entire time just looking at the view but we also enjoyed time exploring the local vineyard, townships, spa, beaches and restaurants. We were spoiled for choice and equally spoiled by the amazing accomodation which was stylish, spacious and immaculate. My mum was blown away by the accomodation and sense of welcome we both felt. It was difficult to leave and we hope to have many trips back!!!
