I absolutely did not want to leave this cabin. It is beautiful. I have been to North Carolina a couple of times before. But this trip was the first that we have ever rented a cabin. I was not Disappointed. I was a little netvous when I rented the cabin, because you really could not tell alot by the pictures on the net. But when we arrived I was delighted. The masrer bath and bedroom was gorgeous. A view from every direction. The furnishing in there was perfect. I loved the hot tub and the big deck. the whole plave just felt like home. We did have a couple of issues with the place. First the sattelite t.v. did not work. and apparently has not worked since the cabin was first rented. The second thing was the drive and the parking. If you have a small car u can make the turns that go to the drive fairly easy, but if not u have to go past and turn around or back up to make it. The driveway itself has no room to turn around so u have to back out of the drive onto the other road. Which can be nerve racing because on one side ther e is a cliff. It does need a better drive. But that is the only things we had an issue with. Those things would not keep us from renting the cabin again. oh it was so peaeful and quite all the time. If u want that on your visit I highly recommend this cabin. Its location from downtown Vheerokee is a very short distance. I love this cabin and when I come again I will try and get this same place. But I would like to have a decent t.v. to watch.

Left on 06/03/2009 for a stay in May 2009
when we first arrived, we had some problems getting up the driveway due to the trailer we had with us. The cabin was clean and well kept. Kitchen was well equiped. Plus there was a gas grill on the patio. We cooked both nights when we were there. The hottube was wonderful. The only disappointment was Satellite TV wasn't working. The card seemed to be expired or somesort.
