My girlfriend and I spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Bootleg Ridge cabin in early January. We drove for 13 hours from Pennsylvania to get here and we were not disappointed. Apart from one rainy day, the trip was great. Great view of the mountains from the back deck and hot tub. Large windows in the back of the house allow you to see the mountains from almost every room in the house as well. Everyone we talked to in the town was extremely nice and helpful by suggesting things for us to do while in town. It is very secluded which I loved. The drive to the house was a long dirt road which we had no trouble navigating thanks to turn by turn directions from the ladies at Yellow Rose Realty. If you plan on going to the Smoky Mountains, I would not only recommend the Bootleg Ridge cabin, but also Yellow Rose Realty.
