We invite you to come and stay in our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house in Historic Uptown Whittier,
approximately 10 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. We are located between Disneyland,
Universal / Hollywood and Santa Monica/ Venice Beach, with easy freeway access to get to the major tourist attractions within 30 mins.
Just steps from the many great restaurants, shops and a movie theater in Whittier's Uptown Village. Come have a glass of wine at the Bottle Room, enjoy a delicious meal of the best barbecue in town at Steve's BBQ, the Italian flavor of Datillo's or the Spanish quisine of Phlight.

This house was perfect! The location was perfect and the size was perfect for all our needs. We had a great time and are looking forward to renting from Bill and Carrie again in the future. Thank you so much for everything this was are very best family vacation to date. Us and the kids were all very happy!!!
Bill was also very helpful for giving us information on how to get places and was very helpful with giving us all the information we might need for the house. Thanks so much again for everything!!! -

I'm a returning Costumer for many reasons. The Room itself is very comfortable at a great price. Having your own Kitchen a good Studio makes you kind of feeling home when you come back after a day of work or surfing at the beach.
I like the Neighborhood. Whittier is like a little Town you know from all the movies. If you walk the Mainstreet you know why they used this place to shoot "Back to the Future". The nice Theater, the 50's Burger Restaurant and the Bars with live Music makes Whittier just a great place to stay.
Finally Bill and Carrie are great Hosts. They are very helpful, know a lot about the good places around you and sure help you, if you need them. For me, this is always a good place to come back.

Bill and Carrie are wonderful hosts. Their home is beautifully presented - very clean and cosy. The space is nice - and also private (the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom spotless). It was an ideal place for me to stay as I was doing my research in the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda so it is important for me to mention that Whittier is Nixon's hometown! It was a very nice highlight to my visit in the Presidential Library! I had a very pleasant stay, I felt welcomed and well looked after. Thank you Bill and Carrie!

When I saw Bill and Carrie's home I was immediately impressed. I rented for the week and was very comfortable. The bedroom was spacious and the kitchen stocked with cooking supplies. I slept well each night. And the neighborhood is great! Quiet and most everything is within walking distance. Close to enough to Hollywood but also far enough away so you won't fee crowded. I won't look to anyone else when I'm in town. Book with Bill and Carrie, you won't be disappointed. Very nice couple and easy to work with.

I have traveled to many countries. Sightseeing is just part of my purpose, to contact and get to know different people is also an important motion.
My wife and I were very lucky and happy to be able to stay in Bill and Carrie's house for about one month. They are a wonderful couple, warm-heart, easy-going and always there ready for help.
They got tow places for guests to stay, one on the hill, quiet, fresh air, big garden and very green. The other is in town with many amenities around such as coffee bar, bakery,restaurant, cinema,etc. Very convenient place. We stayed in both of these places.
It's not more than a platitude to praise the cleanliness, comfort, environment, location, etc. I'm not keen on those facts. What I want to say is that Bill and Carrie pour much of their time,energy,enthusiasm and heart into these houses to make every guest home. I think this is the most important when searching for a place to stay when away from home.
Believe me friends, it will worth every of your penny if stay in Bill and Carrie's house. Go and reserve it!
