Furnished to a very high standard, this wonderful property is well equipped and boasts a beautiful mixture of modern style and wonderful period features. Situated in an idyllic courtyard location in the village of Whitton, this lovely nineteenth century brick-built barn conversion is just five miles from the charming medieval town of Ludlow. Throughout the cottage, visitors can see a wealth of beams, oak roof trusses and exposed brick walls, adding to the old-world charm of the building. The accommodation at Croft Cottage is composed of a double bedroom and a king sized bedroom, which can be converted into a twin on request. With a wonderful... sitting room with cosy dining area, and a well-equipped fitted kitchen, this property makes a great base for anyone looking to explore the region.

Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage at owners’ house (2 mins walk). Large, enclosed, lawned garden with gravel sitting area, furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: On-site fishing pond is fenced but please ensure children are supervised at all times.

Town: Situated in the heart of the beautiful south Shropshire countryside, lies the lovely rural village of Whitton-near-Ludlow. Set amongst a huge network of cycling routes, bridleways and footpaths, this quaint little village boasts an eleventh century church, and is well positioned for exploring the local region. Renowned amongst walkers as an ideal place to discover the Clee, Caradoc and Long Mynd Hills, Whitton is also close to Church Stretton, known as "Little Switzerland" amongst the locals. With the historic, medieval town of Ludlow just five miles away, it’s easy to take a trip to see the five hundred listed buildings, and stop for a bite to eat in one of the town’s many tearooms and restaurants - four of which have been awarded Michelin stars.Read more

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  this was very much a last minute decision holiday but we fell on our feet with this one.good in all respect.the only down side was it only lasted a week.

  This property excelled our expectations,it was furnished and finished to a high standard.The owners were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.There is a fishing pool on site which the men in our party enjoyed every evening.Ludlow is about 5 miles away and is a beautiful town.I just wished that the property was close enough for us to walk there, but you can't have everything. Barford House and garden are also worth a visit, in fact we went twice. All in all a most enjoyable holiday, very relaxing AND we had glorious weather too!
