Bass Lake is a pretty inland lake that is surrounded by a limestone escarpment shoreline. It is a tremendous lake for swimming, boating, and fishing. The interior of the cottage is tastefully decorated, with hardwood floors and woodworking throughout. It also has plenty of sky lights that provides a bright and airy feeling. Midland ONA dream home for rent!

This place was not a cottage by any stretch of the imagination! It was the owners home and it was beautiful! The "outdoor room" that was just built is simply amazing; like something out of a magazine!! It could get a little buggy at night but they had some off lanterns and we had brought our own too so once they were lit the bugs disappeared and the outdoor fireplace was so relaxing.
The walk to the water was steep and not for the elderly or small children. We lost sun at the dock by 4 pm but when you get to the top of the stairs there is still sun to be had so we used this time to have a cold drink and start to plan our dinner. All the amenities were there for renters. The kitchen was fully stocked, bbq outside, washer/dryer, comfortable beds, good stereo etc.
Highly recommend this rental! -

Very quiet location, has everything you could want in a cottage and more. The kitchen was better than our own! Great swimming off the dock. Lots of steps to get down to the water and back up. If you like to fish, the lake has lots of bass but don't take to artificials of any kind.....bring crayfish!
