Cottage Profile Two bedroom, 900 square foot waterfront cottage located near Wiarton. This cottage is surrounded by breathtaking scenery with stunning views, from the large 12 by 20 ft deck, of Colpoys Bay and out into Georgian Bay including White Cloud Island and the Niagara Escarpment. There are plenty of large windows in the front of the cottage allowing you to enjoy this gorgeous view even when you're inside. Two comfortable sofas provide plenty of space for everyone in the party to relax, and the woodstove is a nice treat on a cool evening. This cottage is just what the doctor ordered! I was looking for a quiet place with swimming options and peace and quiet. It delivered on all my expectations. Though situated on a road the cottage deck was elevated above the road which became a nice look-out over Colpoys Bay. It was a great place to sit and read or nap. I swam three times a day in the brisk waters of the bay, just as I like it! And my swimsuit dried off in the lovely warm breezes in between swims. In early evening I enjoyed sunsets and -- surprisingly-- could witness sunrises from the same deck! The back yard was relaxing too when I wanted to get out of the sun. Dog walks started there as a path linked it to the Bruce Trail. Just walk the surrounding streets and you might discover a fabulous outdoor model train set-up. The owners will give you a tour! Cottage facilities provided all my basic needs quite happily.

The cottage was everything we needed it to be. My favourite part was the incredible view of Georgian Bay. We had more than enough room and the owners were very helpful, as they were next door. The cottage is a small gem with great curb appeal. We would sooo stay there again. Rent Cottage was easy to work with, friendly & knowledgeable!

This cottage is a great spot to relax. You can read while watching the sailboats on the bay, swim in clear water (wear swim shoes), enjoy a campfire. It is simple enough to feel like you are on vacation but with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. Only drawback is there are no doors on the bedrooms (only curtains) and the wall between them is only partial so you will hear your neighbours snore. Comfy reclining couch and big screen TV with VHS/DVD for late evening entertainment. Just a short drive into town for supplies and if your lucky you can buy a fresh caught fish as the fishing boat comes in down at the pier. Great service from the agency.

The cottage itself is quaint, comfotable and clean. The location was perfect located just 5 minutes outside of Wiraton with a rocky but great waterfront area. Colpoys Bay is beautiful with clean, clear water. I would not recommend this cottage for families with small children as there is a fairly bust road between the cottage and the water. I very much enjoyed my stay at this cotaage and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Wiarton was beautiful and we'd definitely go again. The cottage was exactly as it was described on the site and there were no surprises when we arrived. Everything went smoothly when we signed up and everyone that we dealt with was professional and pleasant. We will use RentCottage.com again for sure next year.
