Cottage Profile Two bedroom, 1000 square foot cottage at Big Bay on the shores of Georgian Bay, close to Wiarton. This lovely cottage is perched on top of a bluff, surrounded by hardwood forest and has a nice view of the bay from it's extensive outdoor decks. The interior of the cottage features hardwood floors, large bright windows and natural wood trim throughout.. All the living area of the cottage is located on one floor. I loved that the owners baked us a lemon cake and left us a personal note when we got there. It was so clean we did not have to bring anything with us.

This cottage was perfect spot to get away from busy life in the big city. The cottage is very clean,very well equiped, everything in working condition. Arrangements to rent the cottage were easy. We will certainly be doing this again.

This cottage was perfect for us to break from a busy life.
Our intention was just to relax and take a few day trips around the Peninsula. It was easy just to stay there and enjoy the serenely beautiful sunrises on the bay, read, sketch, play musical instruments. Everything about the place reflected our values and what we loved, right down to the natural materials, the art, etc. The cottage was perfect as was the view. Arrangements to rent the cottage were easy. We will certainly be doing this again.

The cottage is very clean, it is located in the lovely spot. It is very well equiped, everything in working condition.
Someone came on the weekend to check if we have guests in the cottage (which you are not allowed to have). They knew we have a 10 month old baby, she had her afternoon nap.
They came suddenly with the all possible noise they were able to make: the barking dog, they honked and didn't care of our baby at all. Baby was awake, and if you ever had a baby you know what it means, it ruins all your afternoon. I was expecting more respect and privacy for the money we paid. -

we've rented this property for several years in a row, in the off-season. The scenery is wonderful, with the colours of fall, watching the freighters out of Owen Sound, and the fishing boats, all from the comfort of the cottage, or from the gazebo, or from the water's edge. The facilities are first rate and well maintained. We've never had an unpleasant surprise.
I highly recommend this property.
