Cottage Profile Newly renovated, 1500 square foot, waterfront cottage with 4 bedrooms is located north of Wiarton, and is nestled in the trees along the shoreline of Berford Lake. Berford Lake is a spring fed lake approximately 2 miles long and one mile wide. There is good fishing for bass and perch on the lake. The cottage has a large spacious living room with laminate wood flooring, three comfortable couches, a gas fireplace, 32 inch television with satellite receiver as well as sliding glass doors leading out to a lake side patio. We came with 3 adults and 3 children 9 and under and had a very relaxing vacation. The sunsets were so Beautiful!!! The cottage was awesome, but a little hot (as this was probably the hottest week of the summer) but cooled off enough at night. It had all the things that we needed and was exactly what is discribed. The only part I would like to mention is that the beach area is not really useful for wading in. The silt is very messy and dirty. My kids really wanted to go in the water but we almost lost shoes in the silt more than once. The area was nice and quiet. Didn't see any of the neighbours till the day we were leaving. Our family enjoyed our vacation at the Paddle Inn very much! Thank you for sharing it with us!

The cottage was wonderful. I did leave some notes about our experience on site.
It was quiet and fit the bill for our rather last minute family getaway.
This is our second time using this rental service and it works really well.
Love to be able to pay someone else to come and do all the cleaning afterwards, though, as that seems to take hours each time and kind of ends the vacation on a stressful note. -

Great cottage, but one shower did not work well, and the beds were uncomfortable. Better designed for older couples, my 12 year old was bored at times lake shallow and silty not good for swimming. it was our first time renting so not sure what to expect for the money, plus we didn't know the area well, next time I think I would pick a spot where there are more activities for a 12 year old such as a good beach within walking distance. We are more used to camping!

The website and acomadations were exactly as advertised. The service from your company was great. The price was reflective of the area. This location was good because of the close proximity to Wiarton, Sauble and Tobemory. The cottage had many upgrades and was clean as well maintained.

We had a great week in this cottage. Everything is great about it - very comfortable and functional, excellent location, ease to keep, easy access. The sunsets are spectacular and we had lots of birds and very friendly chipmunks. The lake is very quiet and not very good for fishing. An as usual, the services of Rentcottage.com were excellent. A great experience!
