Booking was very easy. Price was extremely competitive. Lovely 2 bed cottage on owner's land, very well fitted with everything in good working order. A ten minute drive into Wigmore, about 25 mins from Ludlow. Ideal for a getaway from it all, so it suited us perfectly. Plenty of walks around large orchard and grounds or directly from the door miles of footpaths with little traffic on roads. Loved the setting, watching pheasants trotting around the orchard, beautiful sunrises. Only wished we could have stayed for longer.

The cottage was in a wonderful location, very quiet and peaceful and had, for us, the rarity of completly dark nights with no lights to be seen anywhere. On a warm morning we sat outside and had breakfast looking over the fields and forests and watching the rabbits and squirrels.

A great place to stay for a totally relaxing break in an area we had never been before. Great villages, good pubs & food. Never went more than 20 miles away because it was so unspoilt and like going back 20 years
Lovely cottage in extensive gardens, very peaceful

The cottage is very well appointed and cosy, with everyything you could need including a well equipped kitchen. The only downside was the shower was a bit temperamental. The setting is beautiful with views accross the garden to fields beyond. Plenty of space for the children and dog to play. It's quite a long drive from the vilage, about 7 mins up a single track lane, but we loved the remoteness. Lovely walks locally and Ludlow town itself was a great place to visit with many dog friendly pubs. We recommend the Breadwalk - nice stroll along the river. Rose and Crown very friendly and nice food.

What a stunning, stunning holiday and cottage. Thank you to the owners for letting us share such a beautiful area and cottage. Away from it all, beauty & silence come together in such harmony. Very welcoming people and tolerant of kids and our dog! Thank you Sykes Holiday Cottages.

I have already provided feedback on our stay but if you want it again! It was great. Lovely cottage. Brilliant woodburning stove kept us warm and toasty as it was freezing cold while we were there. Beautiful surrounds. Helpful owners. Lots to do in the area. The only thing I would suggest is that you need some sharp knives in the kitchen and a decent chopping board. We would definately recommend it.
