From the decks, living room and bedroom windows enjoy vast views of endless mountains, Keystone and Lake Dillon. Every Feb. our L.O.S.T. (Ladies On Skis Together) weekenders gather (12 - 24 of us)for a wonderful gathering of cooking,laughing,sharing, snow sports and
caring for each other. we've done this for 18 yrs now and with 5 Diamond's help we chose Bear Lodge. Great weekend getaway for us all (11 this year). It was a lot of stairs but those stairs accessed a lot of floor real estate which was beautifully and whimsically decorated. Very well appointed with an upscale wildlife decor like we've never seen. Note: the backlit salmon in kitchen was most amazing and caught everyone's decorative eye, so masterfully done. We did have some plumbing problems in the bottom level bath, we had an emergency number to call & did receive a calback, straightaway. Fabulously stunning view from our living/dining floor & top deck in Wildernest. Outdoor access for ski gear, great idea. Everyone should walk away from a rested vaca at Bear Lodge along with some greatly creative decorating ideas to boot for your own 'mountain lodge' (home or away from home) -

During our week long stay we had daily snows. The driveway and roadways were plowed as needed. We had trouble with the tv cable reception and Five Diamond sent out there own maintenance man after comcast was not able to fix the problem. We had a new router and were able to cheer for our March Madness favorites. This house is well equipped with extra bedding, a fully stocked kitchen and truly the best views from the front windows. this is our second year in this home and we will continue to try and return here.
