Wonderful venue for our Montana family reunion!

Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We couldn't wait for an opportunity to rent this lovely cabin in its perfect hillside location after viewing it 4 years ago when visiting friends who have a cabin just down the road. Although it was our daughter, son-in-law, and their three young kids who stayed there (while we stayed with our friends), we know for a fact that their experience was outstanding in every way. The owners even allowed us to have the entire extended family come for two special family reunion dinner celebrations (and they graciously helped in hosting one of the dinners). The weather was near perfect; the scenic location is fantastic; and the cabin was everything you would want it to be for such a special vacation experience. We hope to return again.

Left on 06/29/2012 for a stay in June 2012

Once again at Crazy Mountain Cabin. We were here last year, and hope to be again. This the most serene spot wehave ever been. You feel you are the only people in the world. It is a great spot, and a beautiful cabin. The rental company is very accommodating and easy to deal with.

Amazing and relaxing, a perfect family trip!

Left on 04/02/2012 for a stay in March 2012

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and wonderfully secluded. My family had great time hileing the hills around and veiwing the mountains. All the amenities were supplied to make a comfortable stay. The home is buitiful and located perfectly on the back side of the hill to block the wind without sacrifising the views of the Crazy Mountains. All in all a perfect getaway for the family to relax and enjoy time togather.

      Last Best Place

Left on 06/29/2011 for a stay in June 2011

This is the most perfect spot we have ever stayed. We have traveled from Hawaii to Switzerland. We have traveled extensively in Montana. This was it. A combination of the breath taking views, the seclusion and privacy, combined with the wonderful, luxurious cabin, make this the perfect vacation. Leaving was very hard.

      Fantastic !!

Left on 05/27/2011 for a stay in May 2011

Crazy Mountain Cabin was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed !! The location and surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The "cabin" is actually a fully equiped, gorgeous, clean home with all top of the line equipment/appliances. There were many additional personal touches made to the home - like having a telescope in the master bedroom along with a picture window so you can look directly at the crazy mountains. In fact, you can lay in the king size bed and see the mountains !! It was breathtaking !! The property the home is on is very serene and private also. We walked through the wooded areas, up to a large hill and viewed the surrounding ranches and livestock. We picked fresh sage to cook with from the many many sage plants growing right on the property. We had fires at night in the firepit and sat on the patio and just enjoyed the night sky. The home was also very clean and well kept - we felt very much at home immediately !! We enjoyed fresh flowers left for us on the kitchen counter. The home is also well stocked with supplies so you can find spices for cooking, and even laundry detergent if you choose to do a load of laundry during your stay. We enjoyed everything about Crazy Mountain cabin and we will be back !!

Our stay at the Cabin and Montana were awesome.

Left on 09/08/2010 for a stay in August 2010

The Crazy Mountain Cabin was Beautifull and the views from the cabin were awesome. It was so peacefull. We loved the wildlife that we saw on the property. We had deer that visited every day, early morning and late evening. One day they were around off and on all day. The last day of our visit early morning we seen a heard of Elk that trotted across the front of the property, that was great. We loved our visit and we are looking forward to another visit. We also enjoyed hiking around on the property. I can't say enough about how awesome the cabin and the views were. We loved it.

Fabulous views in a secluded, peaceful settng.

Left on 07/20/2010 for a stay in July 2010

It was easy to research online the choices that Mountain Home offers. Our cabin was well equipped, beautifully built and located on a secluded location. The views of the meadows and mountains were everything we could hope for. This was our first trip to Montana and it was worth the trip from Texas.

We had a wonderful stay at Crazy Mountain Cabin

Left on 11/18/2009 for a stay in October 2009

The cabin was exactly what we wanted, very quiet and secluded, yet not too far from town if you need to get anything. The cabin is great...very clean, well decorated and furnished, excellent condition. Perfect place if you either want a nice quiet spot alone to relax and/or for day trips to hike, horseback ride, go to Livingston or Bozeman or down to Yellowstone Park.

      Magic in the Crazy Mountains

Left on 05/06/2009 for a stay in July 2008

The Crazy Mountain Cabin is truly beautiful! The porch is situated so as to see the storms come in. Watching the evening unfold while sipping a glass of wine on the porch is true relaxation. The amenities were beautiful with details all thoughtout...except the firewood that wasn't stocked. That didn't ruin our stay at all because it was in the summer but the evenings are cool enough to enjoy the fire so it might be good to have that available in the summer as well.
The artwork details of the interior were truly amazing!
We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

      Quintessential log cabin

Left on 04/24/2009 for a stay in June 2008

Our stay at the crazy mountain cabin was the highlight of our three weeks vacation across Wyoming and Montana last summer. The house was so pretty and the setting so perfect that none of us wanted to leave! The view of the still snowcapped crazy mountain peaks from the front the porch is picture perfect and is matched but the absolute tranquility of the spot. We took a lot of day hikes across the crazy mountains wilderness and we found the scenery captivating and pristine. There was absolutely no one on the trails and we had sometimes a hard time knowing where we were heading to, but we also had the mountains for ourselves! The cabin was immaculately kept with great attention to comfort and decoration and there was a lot of information about outdoors activities. All the supplies, appliances, and lines were of extreme high qualities, and the mountain home staff ran the whole process with great efficiency and care. It could not have been a better stay!!!

      Pristine Private Cabin

Left on 04/24/2009 for a stay in July 2007

We loved the home and the beautiful setting. It was perfect for our family to feel like we belonged there. The only trouble we had was that it did not have air conditioning and the week that we were there it was unusually hot, in the 100's! Everyone connected with our stay was friendly and super helpful.
