The Great room with 25' high natural pine cathedral ceiling, skylights, entertainment center and fireplace is comfortably, casually, and uniquely furnished. It looks out over the pristine Forest Lake that lends itself to a memorable vacation with family and friends. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen that incorporates a Jennair oven/range/grill..., refrigerator/icemaker and dishwasher with all utensils, equipment, spices, condiments, etc. will make it difficult to try the eclectic restaurants in Keene, New Hampshire or historic Brattleboro, Vermont nearby.

Four Bedrooms (2Q,1D), Queen hide-a-bed in the living room and a 4 season sun-porch with 2 single beds,hideabed and crib allow for a peaceful nights rest after a nice bath in the Jacuzzi tub or outside in the Hottub overlooking the lake. An additional living room/ sitting area with wood stove gives you a chance to plan your day fishing, swimming off the 150 square foot floating dock, swim platform, using our canoes, kayaks, rafts or paddleboat on the lake, cross country or downhill skiing, snowmobiling on marked trails, antiquing and shopping in sales tax free NH, playing golf, hiking, biking, leaf-peeping, or attending one of the many auctions, flea markets concerts, shows or festivals in the area. For a little exercise and a 100 mile view, climb Mt Monadnock, the 2nd most climbed Mtn in the world after Mt Fuji. Then come back and soak in the 6 person hottub overlooking the lake!

The winter season brings cold, clear, very quiet nights and brilliant sunshiny days. The lake is usually frozen over by late December allowing iceskating, hockey, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. We have all the winter equipment for you to have a great time!

Maybe best of all, just grab a book,snuggle in a chair by the fire,or on one of the 3 outdoor decks and just let your cares drift away as the sun slowly sets out over the lake!

  We could not have asked for a better vacation. It is definitely a home away from home with all the amenities you could ask for. Thoughtful details are everywhere. We enjoyed kayaking in the very peaceful early mornings the best. There are quite a few stairs from the cottage to the lake but they certainly do not deter from the experience. Dealing with Paul & Anne was great, they are thorough and gave the best directions - overall a fantastic experience and I would recommend to anyone.
