Location is fabulous since it's less than 1 mile to Windermere Train Station and Booths, the supermarket, where you can load up on food and take it to the cottage. The location is perfect for hiking in the hills. The only drawback is that the wifi connection is poor and the heating system was working quite properly in the bedrooms downstairs when we were there. Otherwise everything else was great.

Apart from speaking to someone to book we had no contact with anyone during our 3 night stay. The home was very comfortable, clean with some nice touches to make feel more home from home rather than just a holiday let. Plenty of cooking utensils, crockery etc.Very peaceful location given how close we were to the road, no traffic noise.The turn out might be difficult during busy times.

Fantastically relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage, not far from Windermere. The cottage was well equipped, especially the kitchen. I took our slow cooker, as often holiday cottages do not have sufficient facilities for cooking. However, the oven etc were ideal for a good home cooked meal. The bedrooms are downstairs which are lovely and quiet at night, which meant we had good long night's sleep and recharged our batteries. The main living areas are bright, clean and very comfortable with a nice view from the window.
Definitely cannot wait to go back again.
