      Great location, lovely designed apartment, dog friendly

      Me and my family stayed here over the New Year and had a great time, the central location was perfect and the apartment is lovely with a modern / comfortable style, the parking permit was great, found a space right next to the apartment which was handy! Only negatives were there was no internet, the small TV could have been larger for a family room and there were quite a few flies, strange for Dec/Jan, we can only think they came in because of the Chinese restaurant below, apart from these small issues, I can highly recommend.

      Faulty fire alarms ringing in the property and disturbingly larg

      Very disappointed at the response of the letting agent. Not nice being woken up by a fire alarm with insufficient data re false alarms to be advised a dead blue bottle and dust caused it - this happened 3 times. Owner did respond to our complaint by sealing gaps in floor and calling alarm company out after 3rd false alarm. Came home exhausted, wrote to letting agent - still no response after 17 days.

      Great little flat in handy location

      We very much enjoyed our stay at Westview lodge. It is a comfortable homely apartment in a great location near to Windermere lake. There are plenty of excellent bars and restaurants on its doorstep which was perfect after a day hiking. It is also right opposite the cinema which meant we could check times for Skyfall without having to leave the apartment!

      The flat is well supplied with kitchen equipment, games, Dvds and even has a washing machine. The parking is just street parking (with a permit which you are given) and in our stay in November we didn't have a problem finding a space, although a suspect it may become an issue in the peak summer season.

      It was a cold week, but we were able to heat up the flat and there are blankets too, so were nice and warm when we got back from a day exploring the stunning scenery.

      Would recommend this to a young couple or pairs of couples (there are 2 bedrooms). It is on the 1st floor therefore not accessible for everyone as there is no lift (buggies and wheelchairs would not be suitable).

      This is a lovely flat, stylishly decorated and well equipped with lots of nice touches. We were particularly pleased to see a digital radio and a huge shower! The location is very handy (parking is just round the corner) with shops and cafés immediately close by and the lake just a short stroll away.

      The helpful staff a lakes holidays recommended this apartment. We found the apartment to be in a good location ideal to walk to restaurants, and the sandwich shop opposite makes a great bacon bagette! The apartment was clean and comfortable. As we had our dog with us it was great to have the lovely wooden floors and provision of doggy bowls a lovely bonus. Shame there was no dishwasher, but then we didnt eat in much. Overall a really nice stay, comfy beds gave us a great nights sleep.
