Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The cottage is extremely peaceful and comfortable, with a beautiful garden and a pretty woodland walk within the grounds. The owners are friendly and helpful and readily available if advice is needed. If you like walking, the moors and the coast are within easy reach. The village of Clovelly is worth a visit and the walk from Heddon Valley to Heddon Mouth, is a good, short walk to the coast, ending up with a wonderful pub dinner at Hunter's Inn. Dartmoor ponies and cream teas abound!

This was a very comfortable cottage in a very peaceful rural location, which was a superb base from which to explore Devon and parts of Cornwall. The owners were very welcoming and kindly supplied a small jug of milk, for making tea on our arrival, as part of the service. It was an excellent cottage for our dog as it had its own fully enclosed garden. The accessibiliy of several acres of the owners' land, made available to guests, made it very special. The cottage was very well-equipped, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. My only criticism is that the bed springs made a lot of noise if one as much as turned over in bed!

The location is off the beaten track, which was what we wanted, a lovely rural spot set in beautifully kept gardens. There are fabulous walks in the locality. We take pleasure in small things, and were charmed by the over friendly fledgling Robin and the plump hen jumping for unripe cherries in the orchard! The owners were exactly what you would wish for, helpful but unobtrusive, and when we left a personal CD player behind, they persevered in contacting us until it was safely returned.

An ideal base camp to explore not only Dartmoor but the North Devon Coast. Gary and Fiona (owners) live next door and made us very welcome. The accomodation and cottage were well presented and we did not want for anything. Highly recommended for guests that like walking or just relaxing - the choice is yours.

Excellent accommodation. Fantastic private space for walking the dog Very pleasant private owners attached.
Only minor problem was that with two,two seater settees when a guest stayed two could not really relax on the settees.
Reasonably placed for places of interest and the local pub and shops were very friendly.
