Very clean and kept up. Within walking distance of shopping and downtown, (anywhere from 1 to 5 blocks). Kitchen has adaquate pots and pans to do your own cooking, which we did. Enough towels for bathing and swimming. They have two gas grills by the pool, which we used also. Beds were very comfortable.
Are there any negatives aside that we don't get to visit the mountains often enough? Every Tuesday they change the towels. They forgot to change ours. But we were able to take the dirty bag to the front desk and they gave us gave us clean towels. To me, that is not really a negative as it did not effect our vacation. Staff was very polite and friendly.
And if any of the reviews complain about the trains, take it with a grain of salt. We Live in a city that has a major railroad run through it. Since Winter Park is not very big in area, I know that no matter where you stay in Winter Park, you are going to hear a train.
When we came back everyday, it actually felt like home. Would we stay again? In a heartbeat.
