This unit has Great slopeside and village views from the balcony. Fraser crossing is a newly constructed luxury condominium complex located at the base of Winter Park. Walk across the street, go through the Zypher building and find yourself at the Zypher Mountain Lift. You are a snowballs throw away from the new village featuring bar/restaurants and shopping and an ice skating ring. The general state of the condo was a little run down. There were lots of stains on the floors and couch. Besides that it seemed to be clean and functional. It was a good price and the location was very convenient. I would have liked more information about locations of the ski lockers and a better understanding of how everything worked up front. The management company was responsive to questions and courteous.

nice condo, clean, convenient with washer and dryer, bunk beds. cable didn't work in master bedroom but was fixed right away. mgmt easy to get ahold of. great stay overall.

The condo is VERY NICE! It waqs advertised as handicapped accessibe and it did not quite make the requirements. first, there is a long walk from the elevator and it needs grab bars in the bathreoom shower and tub. Otherwise everything in the condo was great.

Thanks for your feedback. I will look into how to explain future guests that the overall property is handicap accessible (ramps / elevator) allthough each condo might have certain features "missing" such as grab bars in bathroom(s).

Condo very comfortably slept 7 adults with bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom that our adult children slept well on. There is a lot of room in the living areas and the washer/dryer was great to have too. Very close to the slopes and Fraser Crossing has a lot more room in their condos than Zephyr. A great view of the slopes from the room!
Charlotte and Nick were very helpful. Nick came to our condo to give us our lift tickets that we purchased from Winter Park Management when we rented the condo. When we first got there the dishwasher wasn't working and Nick responded by call quickly and told me what to do.
I purchased travel insurance when I rented the condo and never received any info on it from the insurance company but I finally did after a couple of calls to the insurance company the day before we left. Luckily we didn't need it, but before we went I wanted to have at least a copy of the policy and proof from the insurance co. that we we were covered. So don't rely on Wtr Park Management to make sure you have a copy of it- call the insurance company yourself.

Our procdure regarding travel insurance has changed. We put the guests directly in contact with CSA - the travel insurance provider - so those whom interested in purchasing travel insrance can do so directly from CSA.

We had a GREAT time in Winter Park. This condo is EXCELLENT! It has a full kitchen, a dining table, a den, 2 full baths, 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch AND its located directly across from the Zephyr Express lift. You can see the ski village from the balcony!

It's hard to get grown married kids together for a vacation but this was a major score.THE BEST EVER family trip.They have not stopped talking about it.
It would be a hard to beat but we WILL be back next year to give it a try! -

Enjoyed our stay here. Convenient for the slopes, decent size ( there were eight of us for a few days ), good facilities ( dishwasher, washing machine, ski lockers, hot tub 2 floors below, underground parking ). When we had a problem ( noisy heating ) a quick email to Charlotte sorted it all out immediately.
There's a view of the slopes from the balcony and it's a 2 min walk to the lifts at the base. Would stay again. -

Very nice and efficient 2 bedroom condo. Right across from the ski area and all the village amenities. The only problem was the key situation - you needed the key to go everywhere and sometimes the garage door did not work. I had to return to the Zephyr Lodge twice to have the key re-keyed (not that big of a deal, but a bit annoying). Unit # 3226 was great. They had lots of games for all ages in the closet and extra blankets for those cold days. Had a very nice fireplace, great deck overlooking the ski area and huge patio.

Only one glitch, another party had checked into the unit by mistake. We were able to stay in the unit next door which was the identical floorplan. Great location with free shuttle bus service to town.

We loved the 2 bedrooms and the bunkbeds with another full bed in the room. Great for 3 kids. It is a bit of a walk to the elevators. AN easy walk to the lifts.

Nice property and condo. Very clean and a great location to access slopes quickly. The only problem is you are only given two room keys and one parking pass. The parking is rather annoying since they want you to go over to the Zypher Logdge and pay for parking to the tune of $14/day. If you are real nice to the font desk people they may give you an extra pass. If there are more than two of you sharing the condo the room keys are also a problem since the front door, and ski locker room are opened with your room key.

This unit was spectacular and fit all of our needs while spendOng the weekend in WP. The owners couldnt have been more helpful or on top of it. The only complaint I would have has nothing to do with the unit itself, but just a note to future renters. WP village closes around 9:30 or 10, so you have to taxi to the town if you want to be later than that.

We stayed in this condo over New years 2010 and loved it! location cannot be beat - three minutes from the lift and the direct view of the village out the four huge windows is awesome!
only compliant was the cable was out for two days (and during the Rose Bowl!) but the managers tried as best they could to deal with it (not thier fault!) and were extremely helpful in every way! We will be back!! -
