The Peaceful Family Get-Away
Our family suffered a great loss the Friday before we left for our vacation. The condo was a wonderful place to be peaceful, do puzzles and board games with our daughter, listen to river, go on hikes, go swimming, and to just enjoy each other. We slept with the window open so we could hear the river. I had coffee in the morning on the porch and sat in peace. Sooo needed. Thank you for the use of your home. It's perfect.

Good little condo
The condo was great. We had 6 adults sleeping here, two couples and two friends. The twin beds worked well for the friends and the couples ro-sham-bowed for the king bed. The unfortunate souls who lost the rock paper scissors contest ended up sleeping on what was described as "the absolute worst hide-a-bed in existence. Think Seinfeld." They ended up sleeping on the un-expanded couch and in a pillow fort on the ground in front of the fire place.
The Hot Tubs were decent and just a short drive away - but the curmudgeon guarding them at night was a bit too much to deal with more than once after a long day on the mountain.
Place was clean, check-in was a breeze, location was good and the firewood delivery guy was fantastic. The rental place called me like 3 times before to make sure I understood everything in the check-in procedure on the days before our visit. I thought that was a little excessive, but whatever - old people will probably appreciate the clarity.

Good news! The pullout bed has officially been replaced on March 2nd, 2011. Happy sleeping all. Now this place is true perfection.

p.s. always go with "paper" on ro-sham-bow :)

Clean, convenient location to enjoy WP
This condo was very nice and well supplied. Really cozy condo. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace - made for some nice peaceful evenings. The only negatives are: 1) my wife found a few stray strands of hair around so to her that indicated maybe not the best cleaning job, 2.) the walls are pretty thin so you can hear neighbors (especially above!) - this may not be a big deal to some but I hate hearing the noise above me, and 3.) 10:00 am check-out time! I mentioned this to the staff at WP lodging and I understand they have a lot of units to clean up in a relatively short amount of time but that short fuse on the morning you are leaving is a rude awakening to what was a nice, relaxing vacation. Just another hour or two would make all the difference.
But having said all that this was a very nice place and is very well situated near really good restuarants and not far at all from the resort.

Our 1st winterpark experience
My daughter and I had a great time at Winterpark. Although we are not skiers, we went smowmobiling, tubing and on a dog sled ride. The condo was clean and in great condition with great location to all the shops and dining of winterpark. The only suggestion I have is to leave the light on for people arriving after dark. It was hard to find the key lockbox and although firewood was available at the office, we had to haul it in the rental car. It would be nice to have it available in the condo.
We had a great time..Thank you!

Paradise in the mountains!!!
We had a wonderful visit. Loved the unit very cozy. Washer and dryer take a long time. But atleast they have one. Loved the furniture and decor. My family felt very much at home. The river was beautiful to look at from the living room and master bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loved the irish pub restaurant order the lobster mac and cheese!!! Everyone in town is so very nice.
They also supplied unlimited amount of firewood!!!
