We had a great time in Winter Park - loved the ski area and the Founders Point condo complex was very convenient in all respects.
The only downside, was that the curfew at the hot tub was not enforced and it is right outside the window of the kids' bedroom - too much noise and partying going on until way late in to the night was a big disappointment. -

DenverNice condo with view of winter park base
Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Pros: Lots of space, 2 baths, clean and upscale. Located at Winter Park resort base; balcony with view of base area.
Cons: We were there in Summer, it was too warm at night. Lack of privacy on balcony, which has a gate to the main shared deck.
The first evening, we opened the windows and it did cool off; once cool, we shut things down for privacy and quiet. But, unlike a house, this place heats up at night; and we were too hot to sleep well. Morning inside temp said 79.
The second night, we left windows open; and temperature was not a problem. But, the street was noisy and the moffat tunnel is nary a block away; so, about like having a newborn around.
The balcony is attached to the main shared deck and there is a gate; which offers slightly easier access to the hottub. But, you loose privacy, I'm sure many people don't care. There were 20ish year olds hanging out late and eagerly smoking something. In the winter, I expect it would have been different.
Access to the base area is great and the condo itself was very nice. -

We were a little apprehensive about staying here after seeing the price difference compared to ski season but there was always plenty to do. To get a spacious condo this neat and well decorated for this price or any price was great. The only "comfort" issue we had was one person in our family had trouble sleeping because of the altitude but that improved over time. From the condo we went horseback riding, driving thru Rocky Mountain National Park, and saw a moose on a trail a quarter mile from the condo. This unit is perfect for anyone like us who wants to use the hot tub which is right outside your patio. There are tons of kid activities right at the base of the mountain at the village.

Great location - very clean - plenty of room in the condo to relax and kick back - hot tub and out door deck area were excellent and the washer and dryer in the unit was a very nice feature.

The condo was great for 4 people. Would not wanted to have any more. The dishwasher needs attention, screws that hold it to the counter are broken. The humidifier in one of the closets has a lid missing. The bathrooms were great. Could us a few more blankets. If there is to be a parking pass with this unit it should be handed out with the room keys. We thought we could park in the garage and when we got ready to leave there was a notice on the window that our car would be towed.

Thanks for the review and we're glad you had a great stay. It is $14 per day to park in the heated underground parking and you can pay for that when you check in. I apologize the front desk wasn't clear on that point. You can also park in a free lot up the road and ride the Cabriolet down to the condo.
See you next year!

Nice place. The deck and proximity to hot tub and newer Weber gas grills were the attractions for the rental in the first place...we were not dissapointed. Nice, short walk to the lift. The discount lift tickets were a nice perk for renting with you. Plan on staying again and requesting the same unit. The staff worked with us to check in a few hours early since we had small grandchildren and the unit was not rented the day before. Very grateful for that!

Boulder, COGreat place in a great setting - except for the hot tub.
Left on 01/28/2011 for a stay in January 2011
The location of the condo was fantastic. Near the lift and everything was very comfortable and clean. The only issue that the second bedroom was right where everybody goes out to the hot tub and the door to the hot tub was really loud. It slammed non-stop until 11 pm. I really liked the condo, just not where in the building the condo was located.

This property could not be located in a better spot, great view of the slopes, and you an walk right out your patio door to hot tub. Are stay was great but a few things could be better. As these are privately owned they would not even let me check-in at 3:30 (check-in is at 4), confusion at the check-in counter, I think the information is not getting passed on to the Zephyr Lodge staff. The parking is $14 a day per vehicle and since this property holds 6 you could possibly as in our case since everyone was arriving separately pay a fortune in parking fees. The bunk beds are covered by a very thin coverlet and there is only one spare blanket (2 bunk beds). Lastly no blender if you have the desire to make some fruity drinks.

Our friends own a unit down the hall so the location in proximity to them was great as well as to the village / local activities. This corner unit was much bigger than the standard 2 bedroom, plus it had a great patio. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Very nice rental. WE enjoyed all the updated amenities. The only downside
was that we didn't have enough places to unpack. Drawers were very small in
bedrooms. Besides that, we loved the place and would return again! Thanks
for a great vacation.

Left on 03/24/2010 for a stay in March 2010
What a nice condo and location! We stepped off the elevators to find the condo door just to the left and adjacent to the hot tub and commons area, but separated by a private patio. The view was fantastic and looked over the village w/slope views of both Lower Huges and parts of Mary Jane to the left.
The condo was bigger than we anticipated (lots of living space) with a fireplace, great tv and free wi-fi. The kitchen was nicely stocked and had everything we needed (except a shot glass, but we made do!). The washer/dryer was wonderful to have in the unit as well.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends! An excellent experience! -

The people were very nice and they were very helpfull
the spaces in the apartment were very confortable.
the location was excellent , right in front of the lifts. The amentities were enough and very usefull . It would be great if you could add a blender.
What I liked the most was the view and the acomodations and there is nothing I didn't like. -

Our stay in Winter Park was fabulous. The condominium was exactly as represented by Winter Park Lodging Company. It was new, clean and was in a great location - just a short walk to shops, the lifts and the alpine slide. We will definitely stay in this unit again when we return to Winter Park. Moreover, the service that we received from Winter Park Lodging Company was outstanding. They were extremely friendly and professional. We travel to the Colorado mountains quite frequently, and we will definitely book through Winter Park Lodging Company again.
