Weekend Getaway made easy with Winter Park Lodging Company
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was well furnished, clean and tastefully decorated. It had all of the amenities needed. Even though the kitchen is small,we were able to cook simple meals for two.
Although there is noise from the hot tub, there are hours that restrict the use so it is quiet after it closes. The hot tub is the best we have seen in any complex because it is so large it can accomodate 30 people easily so there is always room.
My only complaint was a large noisy group in the building roaming the hallways until the early in the morning so it was difficult to sleep. The behavior of others is out of the control of Wplc and when I passed on the information, I was told we could call their staff at any hour so they can send security over to take care of noise related problems. I suggest having this emergency number listed clearly on the info sheet for noise related problems.
The Wplc staff are professional and easy to reach for assistance -we will definitely use their services again as well as considering this unit for another visit.

Fantastic!
We had a wonderful vacation in Winter Park. Our condo was excellent...we had everything we needed and it was neat and clean and so convenient to everything. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the stay - Everything is close
The room was as described and in good condition. The games were missing cards and at least one of the Dvds was broken. The rest of the room was in great shape and had the amenities needed for a short stay.
We cooked breakfast and lunch in the room every day and dinner 3 of the 4 nights. The grill worked well; although I could not get one of them to light.
The room was very close to the hot tub. There was never too much noise from the hot tub, but if you leave the back door light on expect people to inadvertently walk in to the room thinking it is the entrance to the building. This happened several times. No problems after we turned out the light. Ice machine and laundry right around the corner of the room and very convenient.
The ski rental at Winter Park was not enjoyable - after being charged extra due to a mistake I had to call and get a credit. If someone was going to charge more than you were quoted you think you would get a call first. And the line at the Winter Park ski rental took an hour and a half due to the people fitting skis being very slow.
The ski locker on the first floor was convenient. It was pretty full with three pairs in the locker, but you could pile in four pairs if you want to. But more than that would be difficult.
If you are not parking in the garage it is rather inconvenient. But the $14 a day for garage parking is pretty steep and should be included in the price of the rental.
The short walk to the slopes was convenient and not bad. Probably about 100 yards.
Communication before the stay was excellent; and I received a call afterward to see how the stay went. All in all, a pretty good experience, just not enough to give it a five-star.

Review:
Once again trouble with check in, wouldn't let us check in earlier than originally planned, for the price we should be able to check in when room is ready on the day of stay. Zephyr Hotel charged me for parking where we were staying which is a completely outrageous again should be included when staying. The unit was nice, but right next to the main hallway to the hot tub, so lots of traffic and screaming kids. We won't be staying at Founder's Point again.

Thank you for your feedback. On busy holiday weekends, we often have to stick with the 4pm check in so we can have the room inspected, and sparkling for your stay. We apologize for the inconvenience. We agree parking should be free, but the HOA board at the property voted to charge parking, so our hands are tied. I'm sorry you heard people walking by - it was at full occupancy, so that may explain so many people walking up and down the halls.

Comfortable, Clean and Spacious
Traveled her for a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and we had a great time. There was enough kitchen utensils to make a great meal and the bed was super comfortable. The studio we stayed in was very roomy and clean. It opened up right to the courtyard with Bbq's, outdoor fireplaces and nice hot tub. Only negative was the hot tub was out of order when we went, other then that it was an excellent weekend and a great place to stay !!

Glad you had a fun stay. Yes, in October the hot tubs are often being repaired and touched up before the ski season begins. Our apologies! Come back when the snow is here and we promise the hot tub will be hot and ready for your aching bones after a good day on the slopes.
