Enjoyable
My family had a wonderful stay while in Winter Park at Zephyr. The condo was fine and the rental company was very accommodating. The beds weren't very comfortable tho.

Lovely place - terrible bed
The unit is very comfortable and nice. Our only complaint and it's a deal breaker for being able to come back to this particular unit is the bed. I woke up with back aches and other aches and pains and couldn't sleep much during the night because of the pain. Got home to our own bed and was fine. No body aches before our stay or after so was definitely the bed. Fix the mattress and the place is great!!

So sorry to hear the bed was not up to snuff. We will let the owner know and will assess if it's just a firm mattress (which some people like) or an issue with the bed itself. We hope you come back again and we'll help you find a place with a softer mattress.
Thank you,

Great location, horrible beds and sheets
First things first - for the price we paid ($99 for 2 nights on a Groupon), I have no complaints. And the location is stellar - we went in the fall, but if it was ski season, you just can't beat the ski-in, ski-out location.
But why ruin a premium location with cheap furnishings? The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were thin, the sheets were the cheapest thing you can imagine. A few more dollars spent on the interior would go a long way -> as it was, it felt like a motel 6 with an awesome location.
These are easy fixes, and I hope the owner/management company does them, because even at twice the price we paid, it would be a deal in the winter.

Hi there,
Thanks for the review. I have to refute a few points on this one - the unit is far from a Motel 6 - it's just been newly painted, new comforter and shams, new pillows and a flat screen TV. The mattress is on the firm side and we're talking to the owner about whether they should switch to a softer mattress as we've seen some complaints on that topic. Apologize that you were not pleased, and we'd love to try again to find the right property in the future.

Great time in Winter Park
Our unit at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge was great. The location cannot be beat as it sits right on the base of the mountain and afforded us the opportunity to just go back to the unit if we forgot something, wanted a bite or to grab a sweatshirt. Our unit had very nice furnishings and the welcome packet from WP Lodging was a nice touch. The Winter Park Lodging Company was heads and shoulders above another local outfit that I used earlier in the year. I plan to use them when I am in the area next year.

Very convenient, lots of activity and fun.
I gave you five stars in all but comfort. I rated comfort down because the unit was hot and we could not get it cool except by opening the windows which we did and it helped a lo. The bedroom windows did not have screens however. We were gone during the day, so the warm room was not a big deal.
The hotel was very convenient to lots of activities. There was a lot going on and we had a great time. I will recommend the Zephyr to others going to Winter Park.
