You’re just moments away from the clubhouse where you’ll find four hot tubs, and a sauna. Plus, you have access to a free shuttle stop right out your door.

Sleeping Arrangements: Queen bed in the bedroom, plus queen pullout in the living room. Sleeps 4.

      Very nice rental and extremely clean. Check in was very simple and quick. The home was recently updated and in excellent condition. The only downside was the road in and out of the complex was unpaved, in very poor condition with a tremendous number of holes.

I hear your frustration regarding the pot holes on the road, it's one of the unfortunate consequences of plowing all that snow throughout the season that we are trying to work with the HOA on.

      Lovely quiet Christmas Break

      Rented this condo last fall and were immediately impressed with feedback from Winter Park Lodging and they never let us down - always prompt replies and great follow-up. We had no humidifier in condo when we arrived, but on asking one was delivered in 15 minutes!
      The condo was small (we knew that) and would not recommend for 4 adults - maybe a family with a small child only. Nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and very well equipped in the kitchen (incl.a crock pot - hurrah!). Good TV service and Internet, so all comforts of home in a cosy setting in the mountains. Would recommend this company to anyone!
      Btw very good grocery store in Fraser (just up the road) - we made all our own food, so can't comment on the restaurants.

      Room was nice, very clean. Had trouble sleeping on the bed, it had a high center which created problems for an already troubled back.
      I wouldn't mind staying there again but not in that bed.

      Extremely comfortable stay at Hi Country Haus - unit 1016

      The owners of this unit did a fabulous job of renovating. Everything in the unit is up to date with many added amenities you just don't see in other places - like a new Flat Screen HD TV along with about 40 current movie Dvd's and even a Play Station 2 for my kids to play. (There were many Play Station games available, but all of them but were missing the memory cards)

      Overall, this was an absolutely wonderful stay.

      I will definitely use Winter Park Lodging Company for our next stay.

      When we drove up to Hi Country Haus we were greeted by two red fox chasing each other.
      The condo looks to have been renovated recently. It was very nice. We were under the impression there was another bathroom and there is only one. This would be our only complaint. Service was good.

      The condo has been tastefully updated and well equipped for most all of your needs. It is warm and cozy with a great cross breeze in the summer. Our only drawback was the fact that it was on the 3rd floor and stairs only. We are in our seventies and that was a little hard but worth it when we reached the condo.

      Very nice and exceptionally clean. Location was great, close to town, but in a quiet setting. The only issue was that the mattress in the bedroom was not comfortable and may need to be replaced.

      My girlfriend and I were there on our babymoon and had a wonderful stay. The bed was insanely comfortable and the condo was well stocked with whatever supplies we could need. Also loved the free firewood.

      I booked the room late in the week on a busy weekend for the Winter Park area. Very satisfied with the room and locale, with everything I could ask for. If there's one feedback I may offer you may consider a source of music (radio, CD player, etc...) for your renters.

      Otherwise, very comfortable, clean, and ease of access to the town!

      We booked this unit at Hi Haus Country for only one night on President's Day Weekend. I would like to rate the condo higher, but our experience with WP Lodging brings down the rating.

      There is a two night minimum for this condo on this weekend, so Sam at WP Lodging suggested we call them 3 days before to see if something was available for only one night. We did, and thi was the unit they recommended.

      Before signing the rental agreement, we asked if they could allow us to check in earlier than 4pm since the unit was not rented the night before, and my wife wasn't going to ski that day and would like to have earlier access. They stated there was absolutely nothing they could do because 1) their procedure is 4pm checkin, no exceptions, and 2) they manage over 100 properties and it's therefore not possible to make any exceptions.

      The next morning, the cleaners showed up 30 minutes before our checkout. I guess we could have told them to go away, but they didn't speak English and our Spanish is very limited, so we quickly packed up while they started to clean the unit.

      Also, although this wasn't significant, there is no internet access. The Hi Country Haus clubhouse has free internet access, but it didn't open until 10am, and , well, we had to check out before then.

      Our next booking in Winter Park will be directly with the owner, or if we have to go through a management company, we're going to choose one that doesn't have so many properties they can't do something special for their customers.

      Arrangements for this last minute reservation went very smoothly. Staff were helpful and friendly. Check-in was great.
      Temperatures dropped to minus 17 degrees and all systems continued to be great. Kept us comfortable and cozy.

      Great unit, so so location

      The unit itself is modern and nice. The complex is rather old. The walk to the hot tub was further than I expected. The hike up three steep flights of stairs was tough hauling stuff in and out. The unit is worth it though as it quite nice. I used a Groupon, so the savings made it worth it. At full price, I would pass.

      The place was very well-appointed with kitchen utensils and gadgets. Even duct tape! The only two negatives were that the bathtub was not too clean ("icky" hair on the soap dish and around the drain), and it wasn't as close to the shopping as we had hoped.

      Thank you for the review. We're glad you found the property well stocked. We have altered our cleaners to the soap dish and drain area and it will be sparkling on your next visit. Yes, it is a 5 - 10 minute walk (in the wintertime) to shops, so often better to jump on the warm shuttle and have them drop you off at the front door to Cooper Creek.

      Hi Country Haus was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in 1016. It was extremely clean & BEAUTIFUL, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable....it was perfect! I highly recommend it! The shuttle was very convenient to use, as well.
