We enjoyed our stay here. It is a nice place very close to the slopes and the shuttle We could not use the ski closet the first evening but they had offered to come and fix it, we had them fix it the next day. I would stay here again.
Had a great experience

Everything was very good. The upstairs bedrooms/bathrooms r nicer than the downstairs and the front door is really tight(hard to open) but overall the experience was great. We had a great time! Thanks!

Awesome condo! Loved the bedrooms & bathrooms. The shower handles were a little tricky. I felt like I was going to break them. Also had an issue with getting into the condo but once we figured it out, it was all good. The hottub was a god send! We'll be back next year for sure. I love this mountain
Great short vacation

Very nice place overall. Great location. The shower in the master bath never got hot. Other than that I would stay there again.

Condo is well laid out, modernized and in an ideal location to the slopes/bus pick up. This condo made our winter park ski vacation a complete success.
Great Place except for the trains

The accomodations and location of the condo were very nice. There were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we had plenty of room. The place is clean and just outside of the Village at Winter Park so you are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle which is nice. But you are close enough to walk to the Village. (be sure to eat at Goodys!!) The only drawback was that we were not told about the trains which come very close to the condo. They go by about every 3 hours day and night and blow their horns multiple times on every trip. I am a light sleeper and even though I had a sound machine, I was awakended every time they went by. We stayed in the upstairs master bedroom and the teenagers were in the downstairs bedroom. The downstairs bedroom is on the opposite side of the condo and shields you more from the sound. The kids said they never heard the trains.

The condo was great. The Winter Park staff showed up as promised, on time to provide us our gear and lift tickets. The whole process was smooth and easy. We had a blast on our vacation and plan to return next year. The only issue we had was the train blowing the horn at 4:30 a.m. It had to effect all condos in area and not sure why they had to blow the horn so darn early every day.

The location of this lodge was absolutely great. It is pretty much located in the middle of all local markets and excursions. Everything is pretty much less than 5 minutes away. You can get around by using their free shuttle or by driving. The lodge was nicely decorated and it was equipped with all types stuff such as cups, plates, spices and etc. The best part of it all is that the lodge was very affordable.
Felt like home away from home it was so relaxing and comfortable

The management company was really great!! Very polite and personal. We had some issues with the time our plane landed and the time stated for check-in to our condo. They worked with us and had everything figured out by the time we got to Winter Park.
We really enjoyed our stay in this rental. The view was so beautiful from our condo. You could look out and see the skiers coming down the mountain. The place was newly remodeled and very up to date. Granite counter tops, whirlpool baths, new kitchen appliances, etc. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the heating did a fanatic job keeping us warm. The only thing that I didn't like was in the master bedroom there was no entrance bathroom door so it made it cold while trying to take a bath, but there was a shower with an entrance door in the same area and it was great.
We loved the location it was in Old Town which was a very quiet area, without lots of traffic. The shuttle service is great, its a very short distance from here to the base, one bus and your there. The only thing is if you want to go to town from this location it takes a little extra effort, you have to catch several buses instead of one, takes up a little bit more of you time to get there but it all worth the peace and quiet this area has to offer. Yes I would stay here again, this wouldn't deter me.
The hot tub area was good once it opened and we could use it. They had it closed for several days for cleaning while we were there. They had a sauna room but didn't have the necessary equipment to put water on the rocks for steam. The one thing that I wish is that we would have been given extra towels for the hot tubs or they had extra's in the hot tub area, because when you arrive you will find one towel per person in the condo so when we went to the hot tub we were not able to take showers right afterwards without having to wash and dry the towels first. Thank goodness we made sure we had a washer and dryer in our condo. Read more

Thank you for taking the time to write a detailed review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Next time you stay with us, if you ever need additional towels, just give us a quick call or email - we'll be over that day with more towels. We're happy to help! We will also let the mgmt company for the building know about getting equipment to put water on the rocks for steam. Great suggestion!

We stayed at #18 for three nights and couldn't have been happier about the place! Plenty of room for 4 people and all the amenities you'd want for a weekend get away. Master bedroom was spacious with a killer view of the slopes at Winter Park. Great location. We rented ski gear next door at the ski rental shop and then hopped on the shuttle that stops right outside this place. Only recommendation for owners would be to upgrade the pots/pans and add a few more cutlery; otherwise, the place was great. Read more

The BBQ grill outside did not work. A call to the managment and they took care of it very promptly. The only negatives I can find is that having the master bedroom upstairs and skiing the first time in six years made me wish I didn't have to climb the stairs. The communal hottub was wonderful. I didn't use it until the end of our stay. Next time I'll use it more definitely.
Nice amenities, great location

This condo has a lot to offer a family looking to stay near WP. Both bedrooms are a good size as is the family room - nice living space and nice accomodations. The kitchen could be a little better stocked with cooking utensils (if you want to cook) instead of overloaded with dishes. And the condo doesn't have many towels so bring your own. However there were tons of games/videos and things to do plus a hot tub downstairs. Read more

Thank you for the review. We will let the owner know to stock up on more cooking utensils. If you ever feel you're running out of towels and don't want to use the washer/dryer in the unit, just give us a ring and we'll come right over with clean sets. We put enough for the full occupany of the unit, so in this case 6 sets.

We stayed at Winter Park Place to do some DH biking. It was perfect! We hoped on the bikes and rode the Fraser Trail to Winter Park, and a simple 2min ride to the base. Will stay here again!
Wonderful view; great for families or couples

From the minute we hit the door we felt comfortable. The place was very clean, had all the supplies we needed to get us started for our visit, and there was even a little welcome bag on the table!
The view of the mountain (& lifts) coupled with the river out our front door had our kids crying when it was time to leave - they wanted to move in. :)
We were there in the summer, but I can imagine it would be a perfect ski vacation rental as well.
Winter Park Lodging Company was stellar in service, communication and responsiveness. I highly recommend this unit and Winter Park Lodging Company!

I was extremely satisfied with the condo. It was warm and inviting and very comfortable. It felt much like being at home. The view from the deck was fascinating. I have never been to Winter Park or near the Rocky Mts. Everything about the stay was superb.

Really enjoyed Winter Park Place 18. Great facility: nice layout, adequate space, fine accommodating furniture, excellent kitchen, good view, and all-in-all, warm and comfortable (although outside temp wasn't severe). Wanted to use the hot tub, but was warned off about hot water shortage...a real bummer. Why have a private hot tub that can't be enjoyed? Recommend for 3-4 persons.

We spent a fabulous week-end at WP place 18. It is very clean, nicely designed, the master bedroom is vast and the ensuite bathroom very nice. It took us a couple of minutes by bus to get to the bottom of the slopes, very convenient! We had absolutely no problems, we thought it was wonderful.

My husband & I stayed at WPP #18 for a week in June with our two young children & really enjoyed it. The place was very clean, spacious, convenient, & comfortable. It was decorated very nicely and felt modern; not at all run-down like many other properties in the area. It really did feel like home with a fully-operational kitchen, dining area, TV/living area, separate bedroom & bath for our toddler, large master suite & bath upstairs for my husband & I that could easily accomodate our infant's pack & play. In fact, we easily could have put the crib in the large walk-in closet to give the baby his own space. Our only complaint was a lack of hot water for showering & using the jacuzzi tub. A plummer came out during our stay & was able to crank up the water heater, which helped with showers, but there was still not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi. Disappointing, but not enough to put a damper on our experience. While in the area, we toured a suite at the Vintage Hotel nearby for comparison purposes. Wow were we glad we'd chosen WPP! The Vintage was very old, run-down, & just icky feeling, not to mention more expensive. I'm sure it would be convenient for those there to ski, but I'm the type who considers ambiance very important & I'm sure I enjoyed my trip much more because of the nice accomodations at WPP. thanks for the great review! Yes, the water tank can't handle filling the jacuzzi along with multiple showers at the same time so you have to keep them separate. Only solution is to soak in the common area hot tub while the other folks shower. Hope to have you back soon!
this was a beautiful condo; loved it!

We enjoyed our two nights here. The condo is spacious, well-equipped and has very nice furniture. The supply of DVD's and game was great! The hot tub in the complex was nice as well. My only warning to unwary bathers would be this: filling the jacuzzi tub halfway will totally deplete your hot water.

My three girlfriends and I stayed here for four nights and had a great time. You
can walk to the base or catch a shuttle. The fireplaces are great and all the
kitchen supplies and furnishings were great to have.
The second bedroom is much smaller than the Master, so the two people in
that bedroom were a bit cramped, but it all worked out.
I highly recommend it.
