The 4 bedroom plus den and 4.5 bathrooms has cathedral ceilings and expansive windows creating a wonderful sense of... spaciousness without compromising the warmth and comfort that this non-smoking unit affords.A split main level offers an open-plan great room with 14 foot vaulted ceilings, rising to the dining room and kitchen. The focus of the great room is a 54" flat screen DLP TV complete with Comcast cable, DVD and VCR, positioned alongside a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with gas log insert. There are two queen sleeper sofas, a collection of games for the kids and access to the front deck.Singled out for praise by many past guests, the professional gourmet and fully stocked kitchen comprises gorgeous cabinetry, slab granite counter-tops and high-end appliances including a 6-burner gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, Subzero refrigerator and a set of stainless steel cookware.The island breakfast bar is slab granite with 4 plush bar stools. Adjacent is the 8-person dining room table, plus a separate wet-bar and the whole of this section is replete with a rough sawn pine floor.A double-sided fireplace serves the kitchen/dining area, as well as the covered back deck outside with a gas BBQ grill and private outdoor hot tub. Backing on to a heavily forested area with the Creek running through it, there is a true sense of peace and solitude within a most private and beautifully natural setting. Relax and enjoy the views from the deck, hot-tub or inside through the oversized windows.Three bedrooms occupy the upper level. The Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a king-sized bed, 40" LCD flat-screen TV, private balcony overlooking the Creek, huge walk-in cedar closet, window seat and double-sided fireplace shared by the bathroom. The master bathroom itself has a Victorian style Jacuzzi tub, double sinks with granite counter tops, tile shower with two shower heads and even a 27" flat-screen LCD TV above the fireplace!The second bedroom is also en-suite with queen-sized bed, 40" flat-screen LCD TV, tiles walk-in shower and single sink with granite counter top.Bedroom number three also has a queen bed, 40" flat-screen TV and large closet. There is a separate guest bathroom with ceramic tile soaker tub/shower, and single sink with granite counter top.A stack washer & dryer are also on this level.From the slate entry to the townhome and on the way down to the lower level, there is a powder bath with slate floors and slate counter tops. The Den or Media room on the lower level comprises a comfortable mini-sectional, wet bar with sink and mini-refrigerator and the "standard" 40" flat-screen LCD TV.From here there is access to the fourth bedroom which has two twin-sized beds, large closet and additional full bath with tile soaker tub/shower, single sink and granite counter top.Base Camp 476 comes with an over-sized heated, enclosed one car garage with heated driveway offering additional parking for a second vehicle. In-floor radiant heat through the unit ensures there are no cold areas and free wireless internet completes the picture for the Premier Property.Please note that pets and smoking are not allowed.Adjacent to the famous “Corridor” ski trail which connects the base of Mary Jane Mountain with the Winter Park Base Area Village; guests have 2 options of accessing the mountain.   Base Camp on Jane Creek is an absolutely amazing place to vacation! We had 3 families with children staying in this home and never felt crowded. To say the accommodations were comfortable is an understatement. A few things we really enjoyed were as follows: the spacious and very modern kitchen/dining area which accommodated our large family, the separate living room and den, the number of bathrooms, the garage, the heated floors and, of course, the hot tub! Our family loves the outdoors and the location of these homes fit our style perfectly! They are nestled in the edge of the forest, so you don't feel like you are crowded in town with all of the Winter Park vacationers. One side note about the ski in/out: The ski out is perfect for beginners, however, in order to ski in, you have to start on a blue run. But, this is a minor issue as the shuttle comes right to the condos and is minutes away from the Zephyr ski lift. If we come back to Winter Park with our family, we will definitely be staying at Base Camp on Jane Creek!

  Spectacular Getaway!!

  What an incredible place!! My wife and I spent 4 days there in June and didn't want to leave it was so peaceful. We loved the stream in back and going to sleep every night to the sound of it running over the rocks. The kitchen is is wonderful and we loved cooking on that incredible stove. The hot tub, spacious master bath with tub, fireplace, and tv, front and back decks, and open living area made every part of our stay perfect. This is a perfect place for a couple or large family because it is big enough even 12 people wouldn't be tripping over each other. I can't imagine how beautiful it must be in the winter with all the snow - I guess we'll need to return and find out. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - as you can tell we absolutely loved it!! Surprisingly, the only negative thing I can say is the pictures don't do it justice. You can't capture the overall beauty and comfortable feeling it has in pictures - you have to stay there to understand what we mean.
