We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. The condo was beautiful, fully furnished, even had toys for my 2 year old grandson. The views were fantastic and the proximity to the ski resort was great. Easy shuttle ride that ran every 20 minutes. There is a garage for your car, a community hot tub, cable tv and wifi. Read more

This was our second stay at 113D - perfect for our needs. There is everything we need and love the fact that we can walk to the village.
We did however have one complaint. The kitchen was not clean. There was dried food in the sink and on the counters. We had to clean the kitchen before using it. We did let the ladies at the desk know when we checked out. Read more

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We agree that this townhome is really nice. The layout is just ideal with an open floor plan for line of sight in the living area - great if you have small children. Bedding is great too with a captain's bunk in the second bedroom and large king bed in the master. Hope to see you again soon:).

Arkansas family who loves Colorado!

We enjoyed the townhouse very much! The morning train was a little loud and close with the windows open, but that would not keep me from renting again! I would suggest adding a window fan for the peak of the summer. We tried to buy one locally but the local alco was sold out.
Very special Thanksgiving

We took the train from California to Fraser - and stayed in this unit. We were amazed at how easy it was to get around without a car. The shuttle route was perfect. The ski rental place was in front of the complex. We took the shuttle with our skis to the resort - though we would jsut walk without equipment. Thanksgiving dinner at the lodge was amazing. The gondola at night was really special.
The unit was perfect - well appointed, comfortable, and spacious. I hope we can come back soon.

The slopeside townhome that I recently rented for my family of 4 was a
pleasant surprise as far as furnishings, decor and size of the kitchen. It's
location was ok for us because we had a car but it was definitely not
walkable to the lifts without taking the shuttle (especially if you were
carrying equipment). Since we had never been there we opted to drive our
car to the lot and parked each day. Our unit had a garage but we were
unable to use it because the code box was not working. We reported it the
first hour that we received the keys and was told someone would be out to
fix it the next day, no one showed for our entire stay. We didn 't pursue it as
we thought it wouldn't snow but it did and the use of the garage would
have been nice. The complex had a community hot tub which left alot to be
desired. Although clean and maintained, it only held 4 people and was one
of those above ground types. We thought it was a little inadequate for the
whole complex compared to other properties that we have rented at ski
resorts. As far as amenities go, there was no hair dryer in the unit nor
shampoo which was annoying since I had called to ask about it before I left
home. The kitchen was well equipped with more than most places would
offer. It was easy to stay in and prepare meals. The bedrooms were
comfortable with plenty of extra linen. My kids especially liked the
oversized bunk beds. Both bathrooms were very nice. The air in the condo
was very dry and we could not find a humidifier but we realize that this is
common with most properties in Colorado. Despite all, I would rent this
property again if I were skiing in Winter Park again. It was priced
reasonably and was very comfortable. Read more

Thank you for taking time to write your review. We apologize about no one responding to your garage issue. Next time you stay at Slopeside Village and want to walk the approx. 2 blocks so you do not have to take the free shuttle to the base, you may want to consider renting a locker at the main building to store your equipement. The cost is reasonable and it is very convenient. Hope to see you again!

An Outstanding Hot Place in an Outstanding Cold Place
Left on 01/17/2010 for a stay in December 2009 | Beach Bum
A Hot Place? I'm talking about a sauna, heated bathroom floors and a heated garage!!!
Really just an outstanding place to spend a few days skiing. You couldn't ask for a better proximity to Winter Park. Very nicely decorated. I can't think of enough superlatives.
The shuttle service to the slopes was quicker than driving, finding a parking place (and paying) and then getting to the slopes.
The one think I liked least was when people were staying above us. You could clearly hear them walking about. Read more

We're glad to hear that Slopeside Village was an enjoyable stay. In the future you may want to choose one of our townhomes or private houses to eliminate noise from above. A townhouse is different from a condo as you have no one above or below you. Thanks for sending your review and hope to see you again soon!
