This end terraced cottage in Little Bolehill near Wirksworth sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The Old Post Office is an end-terraced cottage, in the hamlet of Little Bolehill, close to Wirksworth. The cottage has a double and a twin room, a bathroom, kitchen with range and dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside is a front enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture and roadside parking. The Old Post Office makes a great base for families or couples to explore Wirksworth and the wider Peak District.

Town: Situated just a few miles from Matlock on the edge of the White Peak is Wirksworth, a small market town. Full of character with many buildings of architectural interest including its magnificent parish church, Wirksworth offers a quieter alternative to the popular town of Matlock. Visitors can enjoy exploring the ancient 'jitties' and courtyards, as well as the National Stone Centre, the delightful surrounding countryside and the nearby Carsington Water and High Peak Trail. Rock climbing and cycling facilities in the region cater to every level of skill, and there is good walking all around. The country homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within easy reach, as is Matlock Bath with its spectacular cable car, the newly restored Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Gulliver's Kingdom. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
