The house offers a living space of 115 sqm. We rent as few as 2 people (only the bottom floor) to a maximum of 6 persons. Even with a maximum occupancy there is enough space for all guests.

* Kitchen with large refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, 4 flame, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle, complete crockery, laminate flooring, dining area with table.

* 1 hall with cloakroom and a grandfather clock, laminate flooring, 1 hall with cloakroom, laminate flooring.

In the attic:

* 1 bedroom with king-size bed and a corner sofa, coffee table, armchair, satellite TV, suites, one bedroom with two single beds.

Other Equipment:

Everything is centrally heated with 550 liter water boiler in the basement. An Internet-PC with wireless DSL is available free of charge, for surfing and Googling. You can view (please bring suitable cable) the images from your camera via USB interface and burn to a CD. A barbecue is also available.

Two car parking spaces directly on the site are available to our guests.

Your car needs no environmental badge. If you ride with the S-Bahn to Berlin you won't need any sticker at all.

Two bicycles can be rented directly from us for a small fee, and there are more bikes to rent in town.

Our House:

Woltersdorf is located on the outskirts of Berlin, in a very beautiful forest and lakeside scenery. Our house stands in a beautifully landscaped garden in a quiet residential area.

The garden has a pond with a small waterfall, a children's swing, and lawns for sunbathing.

We have very good access to public transport into Berlin (5 min walk + 10 min + 25 min tram S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz)

In April 2012, the living room, bedroom and kitchen were renovated and in May 2008 the attic was completely renovated. In autumn 2008 the roof was rebuilt (roofing and insulation) and the solar system was installed.

Location and Activities:
Woltersdorf has numerous fine restaurants. The Italian Restaurant "Roma" offers a variety of Italian specialties. It has a terrace on a beautiful river. Next to City Hall is the new Greek restaurant Achillon, and the Woltersdorfer lock has more restaurants for relaxation and a meal.
Woltersdorf already has much to discover if you walk or cycle through the area. Only 500 meters from the house is located one of the largest miniature golf courses in Germany, with a bistro. On the other side of the house immediately begins a beautiful walk through fields and forests. In recent years, the state of Brandenburg has invested much money into new bike paths. The most famous trail is definitely the flaming-skate. But also around Müggelsee or on the lakes and rivers in Erkner there is much to see and do. Cycling maps are available at the house.
From the lock outward, along the Liebesquelle, one arrives at the Kranichsberg. There is a panoramic view from 105 m height at the Woltersdorfer lookout tower (1886) of the gorgeous surroundings of the region, with clear visibility up to Berlin (TV Tower). Inside the tower there is the film exhibition "When Woltersdorf was still Hollywood" in the twenties, when Jo May made famous films in Woltersdorf on Kalksee such as "The Indian Tomb" (1920), "Mistress of the World" (1919) and later "The Tiger of Bengal".
Since 1913 the Woltersdorfer tram takes passengers between the train station and the Rahnsdorf Woltersdorfer lock. On the single track, there are only two alternative sites where the cars drive past each other. With its historic railcars, which are driven only on special occasions, the tram is a magnet for many fans from near and far.
Woltersdorfer lock between Kalksee Flakensee was built in 1550 and completely renovated in 1998, after several modifications. Every day, boats of all kinds go through Woltersdorf, which connects the two lakes. You also have the opportunity to ride on our boat through this engineering masterpiece, and take other boat tours through the area.
For girls there are several horse ranches in the area and even a children's farm, where you can get into the stables, feed animals and much more.
In summer you can swim in the bay at the crocodile Kalksee because the water is very clear and shallow there. But fear not, there are no crocodiles; the bay is only named so because there was a movie made there with crocodiles in it.
If the weather is bad or in the fall and winter, you can swim in the beautiful surroundings too. There are many fun pools in Fürstenwalde, Berlin, or take a trip to Tropical Iceland, where you expect a proper lagoon and a tropical rain forest.
In autumn you can fly our beautiful box kites. Who likes to walk should definitely go to the Woltersdorfer locks and take a bit of money for an ice cream or bread to feed the ducks.
In collaboration with the physiotherapy practice Marlies Schirmann you can book various types of massages. The treatments can be done in the practice (about 1 km away from us) or even be carried out in our holiday home. By telephone appointment the therapist can bring a mobile massage table to our house (6 € extra charge for travel).
In Berlin one must go into the AquaDom & Sea Life - a must for any sealife lover. There you can ride in an elevator to the giant aquarium. In Berlin there is also the zoo and the Tierpark.
