4 star Charming country character cottage with reclaimed pinewood and beams. Ideally located for unwinding to the sound of songbirds. Described by our guests as "peaceful, well equipped, relaxing, attention to detail and perfect for tourist visiting whilst the owners are very friendly, helpful and understanding". Especially equipped with families, additional needs and dementia / confused states in mind drawing on the Owners many years as a nurse and matron and we welcome everyone else too.

There is superb outside space, in your own private garden or wander and enjoy the owners acre wildlife meadow and miniature Lily lake with outside pl...ay equipment. Whilst the cottage is located within open coutryside and accessible ancient woodlands .

The cottage has two bedrooms the master with a sumptuous Kingsize double and a further bedroom with bunkbeds, the lower bunk being a double sofabed. All are dressed with quality cotton bedlinen at least 200 thread.

The bathroom is fully fitted with a shower over bath, all heating, electricity and linens are included free.

A large comfy leather sofa entices you to sit back and relax within the family room watching either the flatscreen TV, DVDs, listening to music via the Ipod docking station or simply chilling watching the great outdoors through the large patio doors. There is a fully fitted kitchenette with washer/dryer and a dining table and chairs to enjoy your meals using the quality crockery.

Through the patio doors lies the private garden that catches both sunshine shade throughout the day. Perfect for unwinding settled into the patio furniture.

The cottage is flat throughout and parking for 2 cars is adjacent.

Lots of extra attention and resources are available for families, additional needs and guests with dementia including our sitting service.

Visit Woodhall Spa, a mere 3miles, for boutiques, golf, aviation history, kinema in Woods, swimming, fishing, tennis, bars, restaurants, take aways & cafes. The cottage has a central lincolnshire location making access easy for our majestic Cathedral city, the beautiful rolling Wolds, stark open Fens & wide sandy, largely empty, blue flag beaches.

A car is not essential just desirable for accessing all the County has to offer.

Additional Location Information

The cottage is set in open coutryside just beyond the village and surrounded by ancient woodlands. The area is steeped in history from the Romans onwards. Alfred Lord Tennyson started his life in the Wolds situated just beyond the market town of Horncastle and only a short drive away through the chocolate box village of Thimbleby with its single roadway embraced by thatched cottages. In the other direction lies Woodhall Spa an Edwardian tourist haven and home of The English Golf Union, the Hotchkin course being ranked in the world's top twenty courses. Furthermore also visit Woodhall Spa for its Aviation Dambusters history, Kinema in the Woods, boutiques, Lido, Tennis, geocaching, fishing, cafes, restaurants and bars. If you still want more the cottage is located mid county so access is easy for the historic Cathedral city of Lincoln, the gentle rolling Wolds, the stark fenland around Boston or the long clean sandy beaches of uncluttered coastline. The county is spoiled for choice for climbing, canoeing, quad bikes, walking, cycling, motor racing, antique hunting, theme parks and childrens centres. Of course it is also possible to just sit back relax and unwind without leaving your own peaceful location even though parking is adjacent and buses also available.
