  Four Seasons-like cottage in Woodstock

  We stayed in the Dreamcatcher Cottage in early October 2012, and found it to be quite wonderful. Everything was exactly as promised, except that it was better. The cottage is immaculate and feels brand new (even though it is at least a year old). We felt as though we were the first people to stay there -- a real compliment to the care. It was fresh and not tired as so many places are.
  
  The appointments were excellent, from the rose-scented soap to the beautiful music to welcome us, to the fully equipped kitchen with everything we could possibly need. The hosts were warm and inviting, but not hovering -- we came and went as we wished, enjoying friends in the area, the local shopping, the woods and trails. We tried to think of another experience as good, and came up with a perfect comparison, although even we have to laugh to think about it. Last spring we were at the Four Seasons resort in Carmelo, Uruguay, and the feeling was the same: no detail was too small to be attended to, no opportunity to make us comfortable had been missed. Sure, our "cabin" at the Four Seasons was bigger than most apartments (and bigger than Dreamcatcher), but the concern for care of guests was no different. This is definitely a real find. I am indebted to my high school chum who recommended it. And oh yes, we've already made our reservations for next year!
