We stayed in this apartment in the Fall of 2012. It is brand new!! Two couples shared the unit while taking a course in Woody Point. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom is up to date. The linens and towels are of very high quality. I love Woody Point in the summer and this apartment is within walking distance of all the lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. I highly recommend this apartment, even if it means it might not be available when I want it again!!!

I was visiting my parents in Woody Point, over Christmas, and was fortunate enough to hear about these exceptional accommodations.
The apartment is very spacious and is quite comfortable, and has great views of the ocean and mountains. The apartment is also conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, local shops and restaurants.
Alison's hospitable, friendly, and easy-going nature set a relaxing tone for the duration of my visit, which is rare to find when traveling these days.
I would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, while experiencing this beautiful region of Western Newfoundland.

Stayed at this beautiful new apartment in downtown Woody Point during the Writers' Festival in august. It is clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The whole apartment has really large windows which makes it very bright and airy. You have beautiful views of the mountains and the bay. From here it's just minutes to walk to the Heritage Theatre and the waterfront area where there are several really good restaurants, cafes, craft shops.
This apartment is an excellent base from which to explore the many hiking trails in the area; Green Gardens, Tablelands, Overfalls. You can also take a water taxi across to Norris Point.
While we didn't use the kitchen facilities, other than for drinks/snacks, I can see this being a huge advantage if you were on an extended stay.Response from Alison - 10/14/2012
