This lovely apartment is located on the piano nobile (noble floor) of an ancient 16th-century palazzo just behind beautiful Piazza Santa Croce. The apartment has been completely and beautifully restored; its central location puts many of Florence's attractions right at your doorstep, as well as coffee bars, restaurants, and shops. There is a grocery store just 200 meters from the apartment. Santa Croce square is just a one-minute walk, and the Uffizi Gallery is just ten minutes away. It makes for a more enjoyable holiday when you can come back to a "home away from home". The location of IL Firuno couldn't have been better for us. Right alongside Santa Croce which had so much happening - including a 3 day beer festival. The markets were close for buying our produce for cooking and we simply enjoyed roaming the streets. A very comfortable property, well apointed with free internet use and local calls. Extra cost for electricity, gas etc amounted to no more than 30 Euor after a week and we cooked every day. Recommend for couples.
