The property consists of 7 wooded acres with a stream and hiking paths and is located less than 2 miles from the Appalachian Trail. This one level cabin is located at the top of a short gravel driveway. A few steps at the entry takes you inside. The back of the cabin features a covered porch with lots of seating and a view of the Nantahala mountains through an opening in the trees. You will find a feeling of peace as you sit and take in all that nature has to share here. Nestled in the Nantahala mountains of the Great Smokies you will find a quiet retreat called Kayaker's Delight. This cabin has the best location to enjoy white water adventures on the Nantahala River which is only about a 5 minute drive away. Also at the NOC you can spend the day zip lining, hiking, mountain biking or enjoying the shops and restaurants. The cabin in located 15 minutes from Bryson City and 25 minutes from Cherokee. There are so many things to do all through the area. The Great Smokies Railway offers scenic day trips, there are local waterfalls to hike to, pontoon boat rentals, golf, and the Harrah's Cherokee Casino all nearby.
