Villa Vesuvio is situated in an isolated and prominent area on the slopes of a mountain overlooking the bay of Sorrento. From its terraces it can be seen a fascinating landscape from above the sea, the picturesque coast and the town of Sorrento below, and the blue of the sea and the sky with the arch of the Gulf of Naples.

Villa Vesuvio is surrounded by an 800 square-meter garden distributed on several levels overlooking the sea and the scenery. The garden is fenced-in and really well taken care of. It is rich is lush flowers and trees, displaying hortensias, roses, cranesbills, olives.

On the same level of the road, separated fro...m which by a thick hedge, there is a spacious parking space shaded by a pergola.

Climbed down about 10 steps there is an area where there is a grass soccer field and a terrace where there are little tables, chairs, and a ping-pong table. A lemon pergola and several pots filled with red cranesbills welcome you to stay and relax.

Another small stone staircase consisting of about 10 steps framed by thick bushes of hortensias lead to the next floor, where there is a place with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In front of this place, there is a patio and a small garden. The patio can be reached through two patio doors in the bedrooms.

Climbed two or three steps down, there is a spacious area equipped with a wood-fired oven to prepare pizzas, a barbecue, and two big wooden tables with benches. This part of the garden has the shape of a long terrace with sea view.

The main terrace of Villa Vesuvio is still 10 steps further and lower. It stretches for 200 square meters in front of the living area. The terrace faces the sun and the sea, and from every angle of the place it can be admired the view of Sorrento and the Gulf of Naples.

In the area closest to the living-room, there is a long table with chairs in the shade of an awning.

The above-ground swimming-pool is located at one end of this terrace. It is 7 x 3 meters large and 1.20 meters deep. It is available from the 31st of March to the 31st of October. Next to the swimming-pool you will find deck chairs and umbrellas.

The main house of Villa Vesuvio is two-storey high. On the ground floor there is a large living-room with walls which face the terrace and which are actually sliding glass doors, enabling you to enjoy the marvelous scenery of the sea and the Gulf. In the living-room there are couches and armchairs, an angle to watch satellite-dish TV, and a dining-table. Several patio doors will enable to reach the terrace and an outdoor living-room arranged under a large awning and furnished with a table with chairs, little sofas, and armchairs.

Next to the living-room there is a bathroom with shower. From the living-room it can be reached a spacious fully-equipped kitchen, with a five-burner stove, an oven, a dishwasher, and a fridge with freezer. In addition, there is also a laundry-room available.

On the upper floor, above the living-room, there are three double bedrooms and a very small bedroom with two bunk beds. In front of the bedrooms, there is a large terrace overlooking the sea. One of the bedrooms has a patio door which communicates directly with the terrace, while the other bedrooms have windows with a view of the garden or the sea.

The other two double bedrooms at Villa Vesuvio are located in a building placed in the garden a few feet away from the main house. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. In one of the bedrooms there is a single divan-bed.

Furnishings are complete and pleasant. The floor is covered in glossy locally handmade ceramics which are bright and elegant.

To arrive at the villa, once leaving from the same level of the parking space, one has to take a path consisting of about 40 steps.

Villa Vesuvio is a lovely 300 square-meter villa which sleeps thirteen people. It features a swimming-pool, terraces, and a garden with a fascinating view of the sea, Sorrento, and the Gulf of Naples. It is located at 2500 meters away from the center of Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi, 6 km away from Sorrento. The Villa Vesuvio has five double bedrooms, a bedroom with two bunk beds, five bathrooms, a spacious living-room, a kitchen, three large terraces, and a garden.The villa is in a verdant area rich in dense olive tree groves, lemon trees, and lush gardens. The bus services and restaurants are at 600 meters away.
Villa Vesuvio is in a peaceful place, not tourist-crowded, and in a convenient position to visit both the Coast of Sorrento and the Coast of Amalfi.
The nearest town is the village of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, where there can be found shops, bars, and restaurants.
From the ports of Positano and Sorrento, daily and nightly ferries, hydrofoils, and mini-cruises leave to places along the coast, the islands of Capri and Ischia, Amalfi, Naples, and the Coast of Cilento.
The bus stop of the SITA buses which connect Sant'Agata to Positano and Sorrento is about 200 meters away.
The SITA bus service links all the towns along the coast and enables you to easily reach the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, or the Reggia (Royal Palace) of Caserta.
The nearest airport is the one in Naples, about 60 km away.

  Villa Vesuvio was a wonderful experience! The views were breathtaking, the accomodations were clean and spacious. Lots of room for our family of ten to spread out. The staff was most helpful and accomodating in every way. Several good restaurants were within walking distance and Sorrento and other tourist attractions were a short and beautiful drive away. We loved every minute of our stay.
