Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A friendly welcome from the owners and many chats throughout the week, the just could not be more helpful. Gave us some ideas of where to visit and eat; this was supplemented with an extensive range of brochures inside the cottage. There are many good pubs/places to eat in the area, some only requiring a short drive. Many site of interest to visit as well. May very well have a re-visit.

The cottage was nice, compact and truly dog friendly;the back garden was very safely fenced. Everything one could possibly need was provided right down to trinket boxes in the bedrooms!
The Landlord and Landlady were just next door, which was handy had there been any problems (but there were none) otherwise they kept a polite distance which we liked. They also did not mind if we left the (well behaved) dogs alone in the cottage for short periods which was useful.
The cottage is rural but only a short car ride from North Walsham, Winterton beach and other lovely places. An ideal break for workaholics as there is little broadband/mobile signal!
It was our best holiday ever and the dogs enjoyed themselves thoroughly too! -

This is situated in a quiet, pretty village and is a great base for visiting various lovely places and beaches. It is also very dog friendly. We had 2 dogs with us who had the time of their lives! The accommodation is clean and tidy and the owners (who live next door) are very friendly and helpful even leaving us a bottle of Bucks Fizz as a welcoming present! The local pub, The White Lady, serves excellent food as does the Cross Keys situated nearby in Dilham. Over all, a great time was had by all!

The cottage is very cosy and ideal for 2 people but may be rather cramped if any more were staying. It was very well equipped and felt like home from home.
The owners were very welcoming and were informative about the area and places of interest.
Reading through the great comments in the visitor book, it sounded like we were as delighted with our stay as every other visitor. Would love to come back again. -

Really lovely cottage, fantastic location very rural yet not too far from beaches and the town of North Walsham.
The cottage is very well presented, clean and modern, all the bedrooms are of good size and decorated to a high standard. The owners live next door and left us a welcome pack and fresh flowers which was a nice touch. As the property excepts dogs it was brilliant to be able to walk my dog in the field right next to the cottage, no ned to get in the car. What i liked least about Damson lea was leaving it! Hope to return soon -

The cottage was clean and comfortable with the keyholder (not sure whether he was the owner) next door so that any problems could be dealt with immediately. I could have wished for slightly more room in the kitchen which was very cramped but that is only my opinion. Worstead has no shops and a very tacky pub but we had no problem with buying food as Stalham is only about 10 minutes down the road. The cottage was a good starting point for visiting the Broads and we particularly enjoyed the river trip from Potter Heigham.
The cottage is in a quiet peaceful location on a country lane which was surprisingly busy as lanes go. Norwich is within easy reach with its excellent Park and Ride and the coast at Cromer and Sheringham were also close.
