Description
Upon entering the service entrance on the lowest level of this three story Bavarian style home, the long counter and full-sized washer/dryer, absorbs the days wear. Upstairs, floor to ceiling windows let nature pour in to this 3-level, 2000 sq ft home with designer furnishings. Grab the remote or throw on a fire log, as the C-sectional sofa places the Swedish fireplace and TV w Roku in view of every seat, including the country style dining table, which is just off the fully-equipped kitchen with custom concrete counters. Located a mere stone’s throw from the downtown Wrightwood village, each of the four bedrooms has a California King bed, even the kids room (with toys and games, and videos/TV). Easily sleep 10 or 12 by including the downstairs family room (with wet bar, big screen, and pool table) by utilizing the two double bed futon sofa sleepers. DVD, VCR, CD, Internet, Roku TV, M/W, D/W, W/D, three decks and pool table. Sounds like home away from home. Need more room? Book the Snow Bungalow (next door) or Getaway Chalet.

“Don't Stay Here! Filthy place. Very dangerous setup - NOT SAFE FOR KIDS”

Response from the owner We welcome all comments and concerns, however we were very shocked to have received this review. It is written by the husband of the party. I dealt with the wife before, during and after their stay via phone and text. NOT ONCE did I receive any complaint about what has been written in this review. In fact, they requested a late check out, which I granted them. If so much a concern about the stairs and everything else, why request a late stay? Why stay at all? I will address each point: The house is cleaned after each party leaves. I cleaned this house personally and I guarantee it was NOT filthy. We do not "require" the carpet to be vacuumed. We ask that the house be left the way it was found ie. clean, in order to receive a full refund on the security deposit. We DO NOT charge a cleaning fee and is thus why we ask that the house be left the way it was found. The rugs and carpets are steam cleaned before the start of each winter season and during the season, spot cleaned for stains. Regarding the stairs. This house is to code. There are no safety violations being broken. There is a hand rail on BOTH sets of stairs, WHICH THE PICTURES SHOW. We are permitted by the county and carry a full insurance policy. Both of these entities require a physical inspection interior/exterior annually. We have NEVER in 18 years of renting out the All Pine Inn been cited by the county for anything. Again, the tub and shower are cleaned prior to new guests coming in. Loud noise from shower? Never noticed that. I am a very responsive owner and am frankly shocked at the tone of this guest-I am available 24/7 by text. I have a feeling that this individual may have just been disappointed that there was no longer any snow in town for his kids to play in, and for that reason wanted to receive a refund.

We provide DVD and VHS players (and tapes and dvd's) as an added perk, but have no idea if one isn't working, until someone decides to watch a movie, not just satellite TV, and tells us! When you stayed in the summer of 2013, the acoustic (popcorn) ceiling texture had just been removed. Subsequent to your stay, the ceiling was finished and the entire main floor repainted. Then the home was deep cleaned. The front deck was inspected and bracing was added. We appreciate that you enjoyed our proximity to town, our décor selections, and the extras offered. And we really do cater to families, (such as "the good selection of toys"), although we wouldn't recommend letting those under 18 months play on any stairs. And yes, Wrightwood is a beautiful and easy to get to "staycation" for all So Cal.
