Myself and my 22 year old daughter spent a week here. We absolutely loved it. Felt like home from home the instant we walked in. Lots of space and beautiful views, lovely noises of tweeting birds from an aviary next door and an old chiming Church bell.
nearby shop for essentials. We hired a car and probably would have struggled without it.
Simon met us at the airport... Lovely Man who put us on the right road to the Gozo ferry. It was on the ferry we really felt our holiday start... Crystal blue waters.
We found the apartment to be an ideal base for touring the island, Ramla Bay... excellent, We went to Cominos twice to the Blue Lagoon... out of this world, Also loved our day at the azure window. Lovely weather, friendly local people. Totally unwound in the apartment. We spent some evenings cooking a nice meal and enjoying the view from the 'huge' dining table. Would definately make a return trip. -

Simon came to meet and greet at the airport in Malta and kindly drove to a bus stop across town to get a link bus for the ferry to Gozo.
The property is located in a very quiet street (peace was appreciated)near the landmark church of the Nazarene and was found to be clean and very spacious. The taxi from the ferry to the apartment cost about 13 euro. The well stocked local shop (Abrahams) is literally around the corner and this made stocking up with food very easy. The town centre of Xaghra (sounds like Sha-ra) is exactly 10 minutes walk where they run a live passion play during Easter. They also have an excellent Chinese restaurant serving the best dumplings I’ve ever tasted!
Hiring a bike made access to the island a lot easier and is a fantastic way of seeing the island up close...but there are some killer hills!...cars are also available for hire.
End of april weather was warm to hot but never oppressively so and occasionally chilly at night but I made it around mostly in shorts and t-shirt. -

It was a very good experience, from many different points of view.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was also near to a supermarket and to the bus stop.
It was a bit far away from the seaside, but it was anyway enjoyable walking from the apartment to the wonderful seaside.
It was surely a very pleasant holiday, that I recommend absolutely to my friends.
