The Seahorse is the lower unit of a two story duplex and offers a lovely, comfortable, 3 bedroom/2 bath accommodation with private beach access. Brand new queen beds in all bedrooms with quality linens make our accommodations topnotch. The living room has a warm and inviting feel, with an electric fireplace provding ambiance as well as warmth and a 42inch HD TV providing Dish Network programming. The accomodations were excellent. The queen beds were very comfortable and the the bedding was very nice. I especially liked the 2 sheepskin throws. Very warm and comfy. The whole place was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen included everything anyone would need to prepare entire meals. The TV was very nice and having Wi-Fi was a benefit. The path to the beach worked out fine and the rental was centrally located so we could drive North or South on Hwy 101 and enjoy the beautiful oregon coastline. Thank you for making our stay fo enjoyable.

In looking for a family vacation home I don't think we could have found a more relaxing perfect place than the Seahorse rental home. It was a large, very clean, very functional floor plan for our family of 6 & our dogs. It had all of the amenities needed and then some for a great vacation. It's 2 miles north of Yachats & 4 miles south of Waldport , & it's definitely not a commercial area. The walk to the beach was literally just steps away. Linda (the manager that lives next door) was a wonderful help with the few questions that we did have. I will definitely be recommending this vacation home to friends.

St. Paul, MNWow!!! Hidden Piece of Paradise Found on the Oregon Coast!!!

I did extensive research for an affordable place for my family to stay while vacationing on the Oregon Coast. There was only one review for this rental, but it was a favorable one, and the price was reasonable. Since we planned to stay several days, I was hoping for a place where we could stretch out, do some of our own cooking, and it had to be close enough to the beach that I felt secure about my 20-ish year old daughters exploring the beach on their own.
I am pleased to report that the Seahorse rental property fit my criteria perfectly! Spacious, updated, and oh so very clean! My parents, who are in their 70s, decided at the last minute to come with us, and there was plenty of room for the six of us. High quality mattresses and linens...a high definition flat screen television...a well appointed modern kitchen...seven miles of sandy beach with easy access (walk down a short path and down a very sturdy set of steps)...I could go on and on. Don and Linda were such gracious hosts! We took several of their business cards upon our departure, and we will certainly consider renting from them again...they have two other rentals available, and they live right on the premises, which I think is a plus, in case you have any questions, or concerns. It would be a wonderful location for an extended family gathering!
I would also like to add that the little town of Yachats was a nice escape from the hub-bub of activity that surrounds the Cannon Beach/Seaside area. You cannot go wrong...my only concern is that this rental will become so popular that it won't be available when I next want to visit! Thank you, Linda and Don, for helping us make wonderful multi-generational memories!

The house was just wonderful, well equipped and comfortably furnished. The owners were great to deal with, quick and reliable correspondence.
The beach access was secure and easy to navigate. Ocean view was nice and the sounds of waves and wind and rain was assume. My wife and I highly recommend this great vacation rental. It was tempting just to stay there and not explore the excellent sights and activities available along that region of the Oregon Coast. We did a little of both.
