This OCEAN FRONT newly remodeled comfortable home in Yachats, Oregon is the perfect beach get-a-way! Come for two nights, or stay for two weeks! Our house sleeps six (we have a master bedroom with a king size bed & a private bath; there’s a queen bed in the second bedroom; and a hide-a-way bed in the living room with a fantastic view of the ocean). My Husband and I honeymooned in Yachats 19 years ago and the place we stayed is now gone. So finding this place was just perfect. Came to enjoy the area with another couple and they loved it too.Perfect place for 2 couples.Located right on the beach of the rugged Oregon Coast Line.In a tiny little town with a great big personality.

We rented this house with another couple and are moderately happy with it. The decor is pleasing and the view is worth the price. The large yard is perfect to throw balls to our dog, and the sunsets are glorious. When we first arrived, the hot tub on the deck didn't work properly, but as soon as we called, a very nice guy came and fixed it.
There are a few annoying details or we would have given it more stars.
We tried to watch a DVD, but never managed to get the thing going, but such things are complicated.
The small kitchen has enough silverware and pots and dishes, but oddly, no cereal or soup bowls. Also, no baking pans.
As far as the bedrooms and the beds are concerned, very comfy beds and great comforters, Pillows are hard for those of us who like feather pillows and I would advise to bring your own. One of the bedrooms has a large walk-in closet, but the other has no place to hang clothes except a series of hooks.
My biggest problem was finding a light for reading in the bedroom. One side of the bed has a lamp tall enough to read by, but the other doesn't. And the living room is also difficult if several people are reading.
The bathrooms are decent, but bring your own soap, the soap offered is tiny. But the towels are thick and plentiful, water pressure is good.
The deck furniture is barely adequate, no lounge chairs, three plastic chairs, one cracked, and two fold-out "game chairs."
And there are notes of fines and warnings in every room, including one admonishing you not to move the furniture, and to be sure that everything is back in the exact place it was when you arrived. Well, the bedside table had an elephant on it and I needed a place for my book and some water, so I moved it. Hopefully it will be in the exact place I found it on arrival again.
All in all, this place is nice enough if the price is right, too small for four adults, but fine for a couple or a couple with one child. The pictures on line look like it is much larger than it actually is.
