NYCJust what we were looking for-
Left on 05/07/2013 for a stay in May 2013
I needed a last minute vacation spot for my wife and daughter for the weekend. When I told the cottage owner (Mrs. G) of a extremely last minute birthday getaway for my wife, she was very helpful in assisting me prepare a wonderful place to spend our time. The house was very clean and professional, and Mrs. G even set up a lovely birthday card and a cute table setting for three. When I arrived at the cottage, I realized that this decision was much better and family friendly than a gloomy hotel room near some theme park. From the local festival, quiet walks, and awaking to charming sound of nature I can assure you that I will be spending more time their in the future. If it was for sale, I would buy it- Thanks Mrs. G!

My husband and I rented this cottage because it is fairly local, but still feels like being away. With the hustle and bustle of preparing for our first child, this cottage provided a peaceful haven where we could make hot cocoa, get the fire roaring and just relax for a weekend. Emily was a fantastic host and though we never contacted her, it was wonderful to know we could have if we had any questions! We hope to come back one day as it is a perfect middle-point for so many attractions in both pa and NJ!!

What a gem! Set next to the Delaware River, surrounded by nature, this place if perfect for total relaxation or to explore beautiful Bucks County. Cottage owners couldn't be more charming. Emily and alfred are always there to offer insider tips on best restaurants or day trips, but are never intrusive. The fireplace, canopy bed and thoughtful details in the cottage made us feel both pampered and at home. We have traveled extensively, and can't recommend this magical place enough!!!

The Bucks County cottage on the Delaware isn't just a fabulous place to stay but is also a memory that doesn't fade after the weekend visit. The place is meticulous, spotless, and absolutely beautiful. The cottage is the perfect setting to explore the surrounding area by foot, bike or car. We first came to visit on a motorcycle and that was over 25 years ago. Over the years the cottage has become even more delightful especially in comparison to so many of the options available in the environs. The hosts are ever gracious, ever informative, and just love their home, their cottage and their lives in Bucks County. No where is this more apparent than in the details of the cottage itself -- the architecture, the color palette, the food, the sheets, the bath and shower. Every detail of the experience is perfect. If you want to relax, explore the attractions of New Hope, eat at the pick of close by restaurants, and simply walk and enjoy the seasons, you have found your acomodations. . This is an experience to be enjoyed again and again as we have over the years. Sitting by the fire in the gorgeous fireplace and relaxing with a book, newspaper, or magazine in hand, sipping a delightful wine -- this is the good life and you will be sure to find it in The Bucks County Cottage on the Delaware.

What a great place to get engaged! The Glossbreners were such great hosts,
and made us feel more than welcome. We enjoyed the fireplace, with ample
firewood, to keep us warm in the January cold. The cottage is in a great
location, close to all we would want - Yardley, Washington Crossing, and New
Hope. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and hope to make it back again

The cottage was "headquarters" for 3 of us for our 50th high school reunion. We first stayed at the cottage for our 45th reunion, and it has become a very happy part of our reunion get-togethers, and we look forward to a return. The cottage is charming in all repects, and Emily is the perfect B&B hostess: friendly and welcoming as well as efficient and knowledgable about the local area. She has already thought of every thing that could make her guests' visit more enjoyable. A wonderful place for any visit to Bucks County!

I am one of those people who has stayed in lots of home rentals, and this was among the very very best of them. It's not the fanciest, though it has some welcome luxuries like a fireplace and a beautiful bathroom and the attentive help of the owners. But even though the kitchen is otherwise fairly basic and the house more quaint than spectacular - which I say so people know what they're getting - the stay was amazing. Every possible amenity is provided including coffee and orange juice to get you started. The house is spotless and well stocked. It's on a pretty good sized road, but there's no feeling that traffic is anywhere near you. There's really nothing negative to say and for anyone looking for a quaint home in a great area this is as good as it gets.
