Wenatchee, WAA good change from the standard touristy Mexico

We had never been to Yelapa before, but wanted more of a cultural Mexican experience beyond what PV had to offer. We were not disappointed. Casa Grace was in a great spot, not too far from the beach but far enough to escape some of the humidity and close enough to the village to feel a part of things (no windows and a balcony all across one end helped with that). It was restful, the view was amazing, we all loved the hammock and Scott was very helpful, and even seemed open to feedback, (ie could use 2 more chairs around the table, etc)

Boulder, ColoradoLovely and gracious Yelapa gem

I've been coming to Yelapa for years and Casa Grace is one of my new favorite places. My friend Carol and I arrived on the pier and were met promptly by Fry, the caretaker's son, who carried our bags and showed us the way. It's a short walk and easily accessible, a key feature in Yelapa. In a gate, up a path, behind a building and up a short flight of stairs.
Once inside, we were delighted by Casa Grace's simple beauty and the amazing view. It is a place that has the feeling of a personal home and not a rental. The paint is fresh and pretty, there's art on the walls, books on the shelves, even a snorkel and fins for guest use. The bathroom is beautiful with a lovely arched window in the shower, lots of towels. Casa Grace definitely has a woman's touch, but it's not fussy at all. It feels safe and secure, with a locked bodega for valuables and Diego, the caretaker, living right downstairs.
One thing I enjoy in Yelapa is cooking simple foods, and Casa Grace has a full kitchen, well-equipped with coffee maker, pots and pans, microwave and a nice stove, even a rice cooker! But don't worry, there are lots of good, inexpensive places to eat out nearby too.
The location is great for walks to the Point, for going to the village, the in-town waterfall or the beach. If you like a relaxing place with just the right bit of funky and fun, you'll love Casa Grace. -

We arrived in Yelapa at dusk. The staff met us warmly and helped carry our provisions up to the house. We settled down and took in the view and popped opened the first of many bottles of wine to enjoy the last setting sun. The Casa was fantastic, perfect for (2) adults and (2) elementary school aged children. The morning sun shines on the bay and slowly rouses you out of sleep. Morning breakfast on the upstairs patio is unbelievable and very private. The great thing about Casa Grace is that is very private, yet so close to town, the "point", or the main beach. Loved the big bathroom shower and in the evenings listening to the waves amongst the muffled sounds of the little Pueblo. We have stayed in Yelapa twice before this, and would definately recommend staying at Casa Grace.

this is one of my favourite rentals in yelapa. it is located at the edge of the village along the ocean with beautiful views of the cove. watch birds, butterflies and iguanas sunning in the treetops while listening to the sounds of village life. great restaurants within a few minutes walk and a 20 minute walk through the town takes you to the main beach. for further hiking, there's a waterfall approx. 3 hrs upriver.

The housing was nice but the experience in the little village. I found some of the best food I have had in Mexico. The people were friendly and ;helpful. I felt very secure. The owners were very easy to work with. I would go again.

Lovely views, convenient to village and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Clean accommodations, lots of flowers, extras: CD player and lots of Cd's, fully equipped kitchen, books, tiled bathrooms, hammocks, just great. I went fishing, caught a lot of fish. Domingo let me use his BQ grill. We had fish on the grill, fried, ceviche, sashimi...mmm. Horseback riding...the kids got in front off us, missed the urn to the waterfall and had a great adventure. My horse ran off, Frankie's horse refused to move...way fun. Mountain bike adventure in PV. All good. I will be back. Loved it.
