Very nice apartment with new furnitures and comfort bedroom. Very clean, bright and warm even when weather was cold. East orientation with view of ararat mountain at south. Very close to city centre and shops. The feeling was like being at home. If I go again I'll try to book again this apartment.

My fiance and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 10 days in March. The flat is clean, safe and has easy access to everything you can think of. There are lovely cafe and restaurants around so we could go there every morning to have a lovely breakfast/lunch with reasonable prices. We arranged to have wi-fi access in advance and it was working perfectly fine. As mentioned above, the flat is located in a very safe location which was one of the important factors for us! My fiance is luxury minded and I'd say he was very satisfied with the place.
Marina and Sasun are lovely people, they provided us transfer from the airport. They also planned for few trips as we requested, which made our stay memorable! If I want to go to armenia again, will defo choose this accommodation. Thanks again to Marina and Sasun :)Response from Marina Poghosyan - 03/16/2013

We are very grateful to have found your website. Thanks for providing this service. Your web page was very helpful. We stayed 26 nights there. Our room was on the 11th floor and has been recently renovated and everything looks fresh and new. We did not disappoint. Views were great. Furnishings were modern and comfy. Room has sheer blinds and room darkening blinds that are easily controlled by a switch on the wall. They are also very well lit with a magnifying makeup mirror and hairdryer provided. Our room was very quiet, couldn't hear any outside noise.

St-Petersburg, RussiaVery good apartment in real city center
Left on 09/22/2012 for a stay in September 2012
This spacious apartment is an oasis of european style and clearance in the capital of the post-soviet country , even if there is the contrast with the state of soviet time 12-floor building. The view from the windows gives you a feeling of armenia - the eclectic soviet style city and the non-in-time ararat mounting top. If you don't mind to watch the old TV all the day, the apartment really has all you need (not all at all in the kitchen , but I don't think that you will prefer to prepare a difficult meal instead of visiting to cheap and very good armenian restaurants). The owner Marina is very friendly and helpful person with the excellent enlgish (and russian).

Actually it was one of the best apartments that I ever rented on Flipkey, but I do it regularly. Perfect location in City center, useful support by householder, full equipped kitchen, bathroom etc., but the main feature is a lot free space and wide windows from wall to wall with real view to ararat (a bit enclosed by two tower buildings). Price is very reasonable.

LondonVery nice apartment, but less than friendly hostess.
Left on 08/30/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Stayed here for a week with my partner. Â The apartment is new and will satisfy almost any Westerner / European traveler - modern features, such as a full kitchen, pull out couch (for guests) and dining area, with a nice open floor plan and lots of natural light.
Downsides. Â There is no Internet, you will have to pay for this separately, setup is via a 3G wireless router. Â Had this been specified in the apartment description I would have made arrangements ahead of travel. Â (I work for Orange.)
The water pressure in the shower needs a little attention, but its not a deal breaker. Â Nor was the screaming residential officer looking for 2months back owed service fees from the owner and demanding us to pay for it. Â Btw, Mt ararat is only viewable from the corner kitchen window.
However, what is a deal breaker, or may be a cultural misunderstanding, was the owner's demeanor, which felt prejudicial. Â I didn't recognize it until this evening when my partner brought it to my attention (who is armenian and speaks Russian, fluently).
I had planned on a second rental. Â But, in light of this new information, I don't think I will. Â (Marina, if you're reading this, I'll give you the opportunity to respond.)
We payed the amount as agreed upon our arrival and left the premises 8 minutes after checkout clean and trash discarded. We were a few minutes late as we were tidying up and collecting our things.
Ps- Armenia is a very friendly country, with lots of rich history and many friendly people. Â Do not let this review deter you from coming here. -

Left on 07/14/2011 for a stay in June 2011
I liked the time spent in the apartments a lot thanks to comfortable European style interior design and nice location. The only minor disadvantage was that probabaly due to season I could hardly ever see ararat from the windows. However a city view from the apartments is rather nice. All in all I hope to stay in this flat again during my next visit to Yerevan.

I stayed a month in Yerevan and to my biggest surprise I found a very nice appartment in the middle of the city, some 10 minutes walking distance from the main attractions (Republican Square, Opera House, Cascade, North avenue, the best restaurants and bars). This newly renovated appartment was really spacious and with all sorts of facilities to make your own stay as comfortable as possible. Indeed, it was not only fully furnished, with bed sheets and towels, and with TV set and kitchen appliances which sounds pretty obvious. But there was also a washing machine, an iron and a place where one could easily iron one's clothes. Last but not least, I was also pleased to find the landlord doing some cleaning one day. Very much appreciated indeed. Would be happy to stay there again.

This is the perfect place to stay in Yerevan. The apartment is centrally-located, on a busy street in the center of the city (Sayat Nova) but because of its orientation, it is a very quiet apartment. The building is a Soviet building, but the elevators work perfectly and it is very clean. The apartment itself is one of the coziest apartments I've seen in Yerevan (and I've stayed in at least five over the past ten years). It is very clean. In fact, upon my arrival, a friend of mine who is a local remarked that it was a unique apartment because it smelled so very clean. The bedroom is immaculate, with a very comfortable bed, and perfectly weighted comforters in new duvet covers. The bathroom is perfect, the toilet works perfectly and there is consistently warm water in a beautiful, comparatively large shower. The kitchen is well-equipped and very easy to use. The refrigerator and stove are both very new and clean to the maximum degree. The furniture in the living room is very comfortable and also functional. I am a historian and needed to do work while I was staying there, so the main kitchen table and also the work desk proved to be useful. The television works well. The windows of the apartment allow beautiful light to come streaming in every day and the air that you will breathe in as you stand and look at ararat is the cleanest air you could imagine. Thanks to the fact that the apartment is on the 14th floor, you get only the freshest, coolest air. It is a dream come true and makes sleeping a sheer delight. Basically, if I could buy this apartment today, I would. It is a gem in a city filled with mediocre rental apartments. You will feel at home and you will feel happy in this lovely abode.

Left on 11/22/2010 for a stay in October 2010
I truly enjoyed my visit in Yerevan after being gone for 17 years. I was so happy to find this gorgeous apartment located right on Sayat Nova and within walking distance of everything you could possibly need. The view of Mount araratand the city was an extra bonus! This place beats any luxury hotel. Not just with its price but also because I actually felt like I was back in my motherland. Eating out is great but nothing beats having your own kitchen to cook as you please. The apartment has been recently remodeled and is very clean and cozy. Marina and Sasoun were also very helpful if I needed anything or had any questions. So if you want your visit in Yerevan to be special and you dont have a huge budget, this is the place to stay!

HamburgThis apartment is a beautiful oasis in Yerewan!
Left on 10/23/2010 for a stay in July 2010
My armenian girl friend booked this apartment for us for three weeks in July 2010. The heat in Yerevan in the middle of summer is unbearable. The more important it is to have a clean retreat with air conditioning, that you can rely on.
Marina and her husband tried hard when renovating this apartment. The designer kitchen is in reality even more beautiful than on the picture. The living room, bed room and bathroom are all nice and without any complaints. It is surprising what one can make out of a standard size armenian flat.
The assistance of Marina and Sasun was perfect. When one lamp gave out, it was replaced immediately. It helps that the owners live nearby (they invited us to a beer once). On the other side, we were never disturbed by them and could enjoy our time there in freedom.
The location is central, you can walk to any downtown attraction and I felt safe in the area. And yes, you can see the ararat (at least if it is not surrounded by fogs).
My advice: If this apartment is available, then go for it!
