All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Stayed at Priestly for 4 nights in Feb.with my 3 sons 2 small grandsons and daughter in law,we were celebrating my 60th Birthday,a great time was had by all.It snowed but we were really warm and comfortable.The area was picturesque.Very nice restaurant nearby and a good chippy.The swimming pool was good and a nice play area.I would definately recommend Priestley and the other cottages look lovely.We will book again.

187069Great little place to stay with kids

The cottage was nice and cosy, a perfect size for our party of 3 adults and 3 children and included all the things needed...including enough bedding, towels, dishwasher tablets even a little electric fire for when we couldn't be bothered getting the real fire going. The grounds were great for the kids to roam and play, with the site being leafy, secluded and quiet. The site is literally a few hundred metres from the a64 (though you can't see or hear the traffic) and so day trips to York, Pickering and Robins Hood Bay were easy, though getting on the a64 was a bit of pain at peak travel times, as the entrance doesn't have traffic lights, so sometimes had to wait a good few mins to get onto the main road. The facilities on site were generous for the price with a small player park for the young kids, tennis court, pool table, fussball table and table tennis for the rest of the gang and a small indoor heated pool which everyone loved. Will be booking a return trip in the near future.

Ideal for kids, although no where to walk to. The site is locked in by the very busy main road and private land. But the pool and play areas were excellent. A good location - handy for York, the Yorkshire countryside and the coast. Property was well furnished and clean but the mattresses were uncomfortable and mattress covers would aid hygiene.

This was a lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world very close to the amenities of the city of York and surrounding countryside.
The cottage was suitable for the youngest of the group 6 months to the eldest 83 years! The facilities were good with a heated swimming pool and games room as well as standard facilities such as a laundry room.
The onsite manager was helpful and met all our arrival needs! The kindle he gave us was especially appreciated when we arrived as our first priority was lighting the log fire! A lovely Xmas break, unforgetable memories! -

Really enjoyed our week. The cottage was very comfortable with plenty of space. We also made use of the swimming pool, tennis court and ganes room which were all well-maintained.
Cottage is also very convenient for the park and ride into York.
