This smoke-free and pet-free home is located at the end of a gravel road, directly atop the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, and steps from a private rocky beach.

If you are looking for a clean home in a private setting with incredible ocean views, look no further than this property. The house is great. The kitchen is modern and clean. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are neat and clean. The living room is spacious and clean. I hope you get the point that this is a well maintained house.
Flat screen TVs in all the rooms, working wifi and a cozy gas fireplace in the living room really makes for a great vacation with all the comforts of home.
Combining this comfortable home with the spectacular ocean view is a sure fire recipe for a relaxing vacation. I could watch the tide roll in and out and the waves crashing on the rocks all day (and night) long.
I am not sure I would reccomend the spot for couples with young children. One would certainly have to keep a close watch on them as the rocks in front of the home are formidable. There is no beach in front of the home, so you would have to drive to a nearby beach to go into the ocean. This was not an issue for us during out stay in September, but is something to consider for a summer rental.
The owner seems very nice and is quite efficient. Because the house is so well maintained and instructions concerning our stay were so clearly spelled out, my contact with her was minimal. I did appreciate the timely manner the deposit was returned to me.
I have stayed in many rental homes for vacation over the years and this is easily the best situation I have encountered. I seldom take the time to write a review, but this experience warranted a note. I definitely plan on returning to this gem of a property next year.

I just returned from a wonderful stay at "Ocean's Edge". The home is located in a stunning cove on the rocky coast of Maine. There is nothing better than hearing the amazing sounds of the sea and seeing such a beautiful view while relaxing on the patio. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need to make your stay comfortable and is located ideally between Perkins Cove in Ogunquit and York Beach. It was a perfect vacation! My only complaint is it went by much too fast!!

this is a long overdue review of perhaps the best place to stay along the Maine Coast. The home is called ocean's edge for a reason, you are right at the edge of the ocean! The views are stunning! The pictures do not quite capture the beauty. There were 6 of us: Family of four and my in-laws. More than enough room for all of us. The home comes well stocked you just need some groceries which Linda (owner and great lady) was able to get for us prior to our stay. The home is secluded. Quiet. Most Relaxing. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Linda and Jim for a great time!

Absolutely delightful house, better than we ever expected. Everything you needed. wonderful location, the house book was so well written, everywhere that was recommended was great. For the first time ever on holiday we hardly left the house and barbecued the famous "steak tips" from the local Meat House. Pie in the Sky Bakery made dream fruit pies and the wonderful TJs interior design place is definitely worth a visit. Perkins Cove nearby is straight from a film set.
