Description

The Dutch House is a listed building believed to be York’s Oldest Brick built house dating from 1648 and is one of York’s finest historical private residences, which has recently been sympathetically renovated.

Please dont be alarmed to find groups of tourists admiring the house as this famous property is featured on many of the hostirical walks around York.

The Dutch House is in the street of Ogleforth to the rear of York Minster and adjacent to Chapter House Street, where the Romans marched into York.

Many of Yorks attractions are located on your doorstep from The Shambles, Cliffords Tower, Betty's Tea rooms ,theatres, restuarants , designer shopping and Yorks great Railway Museum along with other places of interest. You are constantly surrounded by culture and heritage and a 2 minute walk joins very popular York Bar walls at Monkbar.

For those of you who would like to discover Yorkshire further you are perfectly situated for days out to well known attractions such as the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate and the coastal areas of Bridlington, Whitby, Filey and the little villages all along the Yorkshire coastline.

We provide private secure parking with gated entry and a CCTV monitoring system if required.
