The home is in a unique, beautiful, very private setting, surrounded by nature and it is decorated elegantly and comfortably. It's great for families, and a nature-lover's paradise. It is a 1840-sq ft., 3 bedroom home with 2 baths, a large living room with ceiling to floor windows overlooking the forest and views of Mt. Raymond. SINGLE DAY RENTALS:
There is a 2 or 3 day minimum stay requirement (depending on the season), but if you are interested in a single-day rental and you see a date in the reservations calendar which is vacant, in between reserved days, we might be able to accommodate your request. Please contact us for single day rentals.
RENTAL AGREEMENT

The more detailed version of our rental rules and regulations below will give you more information about our rental policies.
CANCELLATIONS -- If you need to cancel your reservation, your deposit will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee, only if you notify us at least 30 days prior to arrival on your reservation. Once you are within the cancellation time frame, cabin changes and date changes (including dropping nights) are not allowed.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT -- Check-in time is 4:00 pm or later. Late check-in arrangements can be made if you expect to arrive after office hours. Check-out time is 10:00 am; late check-outs may be charged a half-day rate.
CRIBS & HIGHCHAIRS -- Available at $10 per item per reservation, with advance notice.
DEPOSITS -- Reservations are secured by rental deposits paid by MC, VISA, DISC or cashier's check and must be received within 10 days after the reservation is made or immediately if the reservation is made within the cancellation period (30 days prior to the arrival date of your reservation). Deposits will be equal to 50% of total charges for the reservation. The remaining 50% is due upon check in. Reservations without timely deposits will be canceled without notice.
DSL --DSL service in smaller communities like Wawona is not as dependable as in larger metroplitan areas. We can not be responsible or make refunds for outages beyond our control.
HOUSEKEEPING & MAID SERVICE - The home is cleaned between check-out and check-in. At check-out we ask that you wash your dishes and remove your trash to a nearby dumpster. If you would like maid service during your stay, notify our front desk in advance of your arrival. There is a charge for this service.
LAUNDRY - There is a washer and dryer, and ironing board in the house.
LINEN EXCHANGE -- Upon your arrival, beds will be made and bathroom linens provided for the number of expected guests. If during your stay you need more bed, bath, or kitchen linens, a linen exchange is available during office hours.
MAINTENANCE & REFUNDS -- We make every effort to assure that appliances in your home are in operating condition, and ask you to report any problems as soon as they are discovered. Our on-site maintenance department will make every effort to correct the problem; however, at times we must wait for parts or outside service. Refunds will not be made for inconvenience due to mechanical failure of appliances.
QUIET TIME -- 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please respect these hours so everyone can enjoy their time while in Yosemite.
RATES - Rate charges are based on two chargeable guests per bedroom. Our home has bedding that can accommodate up to 8 people, and extra charges will apply if the total number of chargeable guests exceeds two per bedroom.
RESERVATION FEE -- A $50 reservation processing fee is charged on each reservation.
WEATHER & WINTER CONDITIONS -- Yosemite experiences all four seasons, which brings occasional stormy weather and power outages. Winter driving conditions can exist from November to April, and you are required to carry tire chains (even with 4-wheel/all wheel drive vehicles) during those months. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather or power outages.
WHAT'S PROVIDED -- Our home has a fully- equipped kitchen including microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, housewares and dish soap; bed linens and blankets; bath towels, toilet paper and bath soap; and deck with barbecue. Do not forget groceries, condiments, spices, foil, paper items, flashlights, and charcoal.

My wife and I and another couple were at this property for a three day weekend and it was just perfect. We enjoy hiking and there was a trail just a few steps from the front door, that brought us all the way to Chilnualna Falls. The directions for the hike and a guide to all the recreational opportunities nearby was a big plus for staying here.
The house was is gorgeous. We loved the living room, bathed in sunlight with that spectacular view. We especially enjoyed the serenity. We were there in March and it felt like we had the park to ourselves. -

We usually rent a home when when we vacation and have seen a wide cross section of vacation homes in aZ and Ca, this home showed care and hospitality everywhere, from the well equipped kitchen to the wall art and books. This really was a warm welcoming home especially the raised deck with lots of comfortable chairs and recliners, and privacy at the end of the lane. You really are living in a forest, in comfort!
During our September vacation we were able to swim everyday in the river in a beautiful rock pools walking distance from the house. The water was warm from running over the rocks.
Don't be put off by the officious agent, they don't reflect the owners attitude at all. -

I have been coming to Wawona for years. I used to stay at the hotel, but the last several years I've opted for rental homes. The hotel certainly has charm and some of the homes are quite nice. But this place is by far the best.
This is a beautifully designed home, lovely inside and out. It has new, very comfortable furniture and the best electronics, i.e. wireless, smart TV, great sound system, I've ever seen in a rental.
But, for me, the best aspect is the location. Most properties in Wawona are in neighborhoods with houses on all sides. This house is within easy walking distance to the hotel. But, it is at the end of the road with forest on 3 sides, great views, and best of all its own babbling brook.
The owner has provided all kinds of games: ping pong, pool, volleyball, badminton, in addition to a swing set for the kids.
But, I spent most of my time on the deck enjoying the mountain views and listening to the water. -

When the time came for a reunion with friends we were looking for the perfect place to accommodate everyone's needs and desires (not always an easy task for six adults). We found it. A beautiful designer home in the midst of the Yosemite Park wilderness. This location really is an amazing blend of top of the line accommodations, including state of the art audio and video, big fully equipped kitchen, lovely interior décor, and a huge tempting deck, with views of mountains and forest, and the soothing sounds of a nearby creek; several times we shared a meal out there to enjoy the aroma of fresh air and bear clover. One evening we all joined around a campfire in the property's backyard fire pit to laugh and enjoy the night.
During the day there were a ton of things to do. A nearby swimming hole was enjoyed by all of us. One day the group split up, and some went to play golf at the nearby Wawona course, while others of us decided to climb to the top of Mount Raymond, as we were curious about the peak we were looking at from the deck. The sweeping view from up there is breathtaking. On the way up we parked at the Mariposa Grove and big trees, about a 20 minute drive from the house. The owners had very thoughtfully even included a library, and I ended up finding and reading a book that I really enjoyed; one of life's little pleasures.
If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, and where your hardest decision will be whether to get out and enjoy the park or stay in and enjoy the house and grounds, this may very well be the place for you. -

We loved staying here! The house was great! It had a huge deck - which we used everday for breakfast and dinner. It was easy to get to Mariposa Grove and Glacier Point for hiking in the morning. Swimming holes were close by (several within walking distance) and we went to a different one every afternoon. It was also nice to have a big screen TV with Netflix to relax at night after a full day outdoors. It was a fantastic place to stay and enjoy Yosemite!

The home has all the modern comforts yet situated in a beautiful glade of pines. Whether your vacation goal is to "veg-out" or tackle Yosemite you may do so from this base of operations.
The kitchen is fully outfitted except a shop for paper towels to coffee will be necessary, which you may do on your way to the Park or at the local well-stocked but higher priced general store.
The media system is very advanced with DVD player, 3d TV, and smart TV. You may even make copieS of classic vinyl compliments of the CD maker.
Roomy enough to sleep 8 or if you've got a snorer in your party like we do, 7. The inflatable bed is easy to operate and very comfortable for an inflatable.
The wrap-around deck has automatic shadesowing you to bring as much or as little of the glorious setting inside.
The one hour drive to the Valley is a bit long.
