Just 10 min with a car to the old town center of Zadar, or 5-6 min if you will park by the little rowing boat that will take you 100m across the sea to the center. This is one of Zadar's oldest traditions. You can see the picture of the boat in the Photos section. The beautiful Villa with palm trees in the garden, is situated in Borik, a well known tourist part of Zadar, only 5-6 min walk to one of the beaches(sandy, pebbles, stone..), and 2,5 km to the old town center. There is a lot of green area with trees and private houses mostly for renting in the neighbourhood. A famous Zadar's fish restaurant Roko is just opposite the street, the shop is 100m from the house and the bus stop is 300m away. Buses go every 20min till 23:30, but then there are a lot of cheap taxies everywhere (cca 5 euros for the first 5 km). There are 4 different beaches from 5-15 min walk from the house. The airport is at about 16km from the house and we also offer airport transfers.

Zdravka, the owner, was very friendly and informative about special things in the area... and welcomed us with a bottle of homemade wine! The place itself is comfortable and functional, close to the beach and easy to get to. There are 3 restaurants very close by and 2 of them we tried and were very good (Roco-Fish and a pizza place). The only downside was the shared wall with the other unit: paper-thin. Not a big deal for us as 1- we often sleep with ear plugs and 2- the people that happened to be there were fairly quiet, but would have been a problem if it had been otherwise.
To get there, not that the adress is not the same as in the booking.com adress as per city regulations recent changes. The building number was actually 59, not 49.
Overall, good place to stay and super-nice owner!
