Nico was very friendly and helpful, and the appartment was lovel

Left on 05/21/2013 for a stay in May 2013

We paid for Nico to do the short transfer from the airport to the apartment. Well worth it as he took us to the supermarket for us to buy some supplies so we didn't need to carry them. He then took us on a drive round the old city and pointed out the sights. A really helpful chap. The apartment was much larger than expected with all you need to cook for yourselves and chill out if that's your choice. Great location with a short walk to the old town. We walked every day but there are local buses at the end of the road. We would definitely return.

      Excellent host and great apartment

Left on 05/11/2013 for a stay in May 2013

This was my first visit to Zadar. Thanks to Nico we had a great start, he pick up us at the airport, took us for grocery shopping and showed us the beatiful old town! Nico was available and service minded at all times! We stayed in 2 bed apartment, which had everything you need for cooking breakfast, nice beds and chair and table to sit and enjoy the sunshine in the balcony. One beach is about 5min away and the other one in Borik is 15-20min. The area is peacefull and quite. We used to walk to Zadar, about 20min away, along the sea and took the bus back. Zadar is a beatiful city, we loved the food and the relaxed atmosphere! Other places i really loved were the Plivitce lakes and Kornati islands, amazing nature!!! Overall, we were very happy with our holiday and would definetely come back to Zadar and stay here again.

Beatiful apartment with all the things that you need for an excellent vacation i beautiful Zadar. The location of the apartment is perfect with the beach close to you and with a short walk you can be in Old Town of Zadar within 10 minutes. Close to fine dining and supermarkets. Excellent location.

Has been a guest of Nico two years and his service is outstanding. He picks you up at the airport and guide you to the most interrestning and exiting things in Zadar. He speaks great english, german and italian and is very helpful with all the things you might wonder about.

      Beautiful Zadar

Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We have stayed with Nico three years in a row, that's how much we love Zadar and how much we like Nico. He will gladly pick you up at the airport for a small fee and show you around the town on the way, stopping at the supermarket to allow you to stock up on basics for your stay. His apartments are spotless. This was our first time staying in apartment Miodrag as he also has apartments nearer to Borik which we had used the previous two stays. Ask him about these apartments as they are closer to the private beaches (across the road), which makes a difference if you are travelling with children or elderly adults. I would highly recommend staying with Nico. He is an absolute gentlemen. I look forward to returning again. Zadar is amazing.

      Wonderful and relaxing holiday

Left on 07/06/2012 for a stay in May 2012

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in May. The flat is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very spacious. There are two sunny balconies which seated the three of us easily, and a well equipped kitchen for preparing food (if you want to eat in).

The flat is located in a peaceful residential area, but still very easy walking distance to the old town (15-20 minutes at a leisurely pace along the pleasant waterfront) and Borik (including the beach, 5-10 minutes). There are shops and some restaurants closer by too. Taxis back from the old town at night were very cheap and easy to locate, if walking felt like too much effort.

Nico, the owner, was extremely helpful, offering us advice and recommendations about the local area and answering all our questions. He arranged a transfer from the airport for us, and even took us to the local supermarket so we could stock up on goods for the week! He also took us on a trip to the Plitvic Lakes – well worth the day trip if you have time.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartment to anyone planning a trip to Zadar.

Cozy, sunny, great location, great owner!

Left on 12/22/2011 for a stay in October 2011

We loved our stay here in October 2011. My husband and I rented a one-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. Having a kitchen was a big plus - we went grocery shopping and cooked several delicious meals here. Niko, the owner, is super nice. Great service, and he gave us a ride to the bus station at the end of our stay. In the beginning, while we were waiting for Niko to meet us at the apartment, we also met his parents (who live in another apartment on the property). What a sweet old couple! Niko's dad happily poured us some grappa, which he makes right there in his garage. Niko's mom offered us dessert. I was kind of hoping they would adopt us as their new grandchildren :)
Anyway, the apartment we had was spacious and clean. It also has a large sunny outdoor deck. The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Very close to water and one of the marinas, and about a 20 minute walk from the old town (or a short bus ride). We very much enjoyed our walks to and from old town, so never took a bus.
Very much recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed in 2 bedroom/2 Bath apartment. Spacious apartment. Kitchen, Living Room, Dining area, We were very impressed that the apartment was so modern, everything was new and perfect. The apartment was extremely clean. I would recommend to a friend anytime and would return without hesitation. Had a balcony, which was nice to relax. Great location, walking distance to downtown Zadar, which is only about 20 minute walk or just 10 minute by rowboat. Several restaurants in walking distance. Lovely apartment!!

Don't hesitate to book this apartment for a great stay in Zadar

Left on 05/23/2011 for a stay in May 2011

Nico is very helpful and kind - a perfect host - no hesitation or reservations about recommending this apartment. He met us at the airport (return transfer 30 euros) and stopped en route to enable us to buy supplies from supermarket. He took us on a quick tour around the city before welcoming us into the apartment. Spotless, light and airy; spacious bathroom with good shower, bidet and bath, coffee maker, large fridge, plenty of equipment for kitchen.
Two brand new cycles to hire for 10 euros
We were spending catch-up time with two of our children - 21 and 22 yrs and spent lots of time strolling, having coffee, chatting and watching people pass by
Taxi to and from old town was 30kn approx £4.80 for four of us - from rank or booked by phone from various locations. Otherwise easy walking on the level following the sea wall - 10/15 mins to rowing boat over to old town or continue to bridge in further 15mins. We would have walked every time save for my newly broken arm. No cheaper for four on bus - 8kn each single - seemed to come about 5/10 mins after the hour from nearby bus stop.
We loved the Bruschetta restaurant- excellent food and service. Beer, wine food coffee all cheaper than UK. Had a coffee in The Garden - worth a glance! . Fantastic market for wonderful veg and fruit etc. All seemed relaxed, no hustle and despite number of visitors didn't feel very 'touristy'.
Walked to both beaches closest to apartment - quiet and clean - shale no sand
Loved Zadar - sea organ quite extraordinary.

great location in a beautiful city

Left on 10/07/2010 for a stay in June 2010

We stayed for 12 nights in this apartment and found it to be very good value for money. It was comfortable clean and spacious with three sunloungers and a table/bench for eating outside. Nico the owner was friendly and helpful. It located in a nice quiet residential area that is a 15 min walk from zadar old town and 15 min walk in the other direction to Borik Beach. The only thing I would like you to be aware of is that the airconditioning is not included in the price! This is not made clear on the apartment website and costs 7 euros a day, which we were unhappy about and negotiated a deal with Nico.

      Beautiful Zadar

Left on 05/16/2010 for a stay in September 2009

We stayed in Apartments Miodrag in Zadar. Nico met us at the airport and for a modest fee brought us to the apartment, giving us a tour of Zadar city on the way. He pointed out the landmarks that were later useful to us and showed us the local shop and bus stops. His apartments are lovely, clean, modern and well equipped, in a nice residential area, with a choice of lovely beaches in walking distance. We mostly walked in and out of the old city of Zadar, a very pleasant walk along the coast, about 20 mins. Zadar old city is a wonderful place to visit, full of atmosphere and history. We had a wonderful day on one of the local islands, which can be reached by a ferry, costing about €8 return. We also went on a day trip around the islands, the highlight of the holiday. Nico was always available, without being around too much. He,and his parents who live next door, are hospitable and friendly. I would recommend hiring bikes as there are lots of lovely places to visit within easy cycling distance. Zadar and the surrounding area have plenty of good restaurants, well priced, some serving delicious food, but the wine choice was limited. I would recommend Zadar for a holiday for older people and those who like water-based activities, perhaps there is not enough there for younger people who are looking for lively night life. It is a truly beautiful place with astounding scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay at Miodrag apartments. Our host was very kind and
helpful and the apartment was super clean and well kept. The apartment is
located right outside of center, you can walk but the best thing to do in Zadar
is to rent a bike! It took us maybe 10 minutes to bike into town and it is the
also the perfect way to explore the surroundings of Zadar. One day we took
the bikes on to the ferry and went to Uglijan and had a fantastic day there.
We very much recommend Miodrag apartments for your stay in Zadar.
