      awesome place, beautifully restored, modern amenties, great loca

      B&B; Rospigliosi (also called Casa Rospigliosi) is a hill town, Zagarolo, in the Roman countryside near Rome, Italy

      Zagarolo is a charming village, easily walkable historic district, with spectacular views, about 30 minutes by frequent train to the main station near most tourist attractions in Rome Termini.

      If you want to envelope yourself in ancient Rome in an ancient building, lovingly restored, high ceilings, amazing views, elegant atmosphere, while warm and intimate, with all the modern amenities, B&B; Rospigliosi-Casa Rospigliosi is the perfect choice.

      It is turn a narrow lane just past the town square, with lots of shops, bars, ancient ovens and cafes nearby. Walking through all the nooks and crannies of the village, there is a surprise at every turn, Like the Palazzo Rospigliosi, the first Italian Toy Museum

      Vivacious hostess alessia and her gracious husband Francesco went Wayyy beyond our expectations in making us all welcome in their gorgeous B&B.;

      Don’t have a car? There is a shuttle bus that runs about every 30 minutes to take you to the train terminal. L

      amenities: Lots of books to read, LCD TVs, WiFi, phone, several private, fully equipped, modern bathrooms (quite unusual in Italy), an awesome eat-in kitchen, tea and coffee makers, heat and air conditioning (yep, Expresso maker, too), exquisitely decorated throughout, you will not be disappointed.

      I could go on and on and on, but we run a bed and breakfast and have very little time, except when we go on vacation. Speaking of vacation, stay there, and you will have wonderful memories to treasure for a lifetime!

      It felt like our own home.

      The Rospigliosi was a perfect place to spend a few days. The house is beautifully restored and the rooms have every comfort; it was also good to be able to use the lounge and kitchen. Alessia and Francesco were wonderful hosts and made us feel that we were friends rather than just paying guests. We will certainly stay at the Rospigliosi again the next time we want to be near Rome.

      The apartment is large and all can have their private sections, or be all together which we love as a family. If we needed anything alessia was there for us, we really appreciated how we were treated, love her decor,

      I travel for work and I can tell you this B&B; is very comfortable. Even too much for a business traveller.
      If you travel by train the station is well connected, but quite far from the historical center.
      The location is new and clean as not everywhere usual in Italy.

      Zagarolo is an ancient hill town some way out of Rome. Casa Rospgliosi is a stylishly decorated Bed & Breakfast which immediately makes you feel welcome (I would have said 'at home', but it is far smarter than my apartment).

      The rooms are spacious and recently refurbished, accentuating the charm of the original features.

      It is down a picturesque, higgldy-piggldy side-street, directly opposite a traditional bakery.

      It would be an ideal place for a group of friends to use as a base, next time maybe...
